Mmmmhmmm!! Thankfully my purse is big enough that I can fit my water bottle inside, and still be able to zip it up. I've got a pretty big water bottle.
O.o Omg, that's INSANE!! It isn't that bad here, but we will have up to 50 mph gusts that will down trees and power lines. That's nice that you have a way to get it up and out of your face! I love that hair-do she has! So pretty! Mine may be able to work that way - if I was good at braiding.
Oh yes! Totally different! SimCom (speaking and talking at the same time) is signing more in spoken english that in ASL structure. So I try not to do that, as it really isn't something that I should be doing. So I tend to just turn my voice off and only sign. I will sometimes mouth things, but that's rare.
Totally random - I had a friend ask me how long it would take me to finger spell 'Raxacoricofallapatorius' (one of the planets from Doctor Who) here is how long it took me. Yes, I recorded myself. LOL.
I keep looking to the side as I have it written out so I don't lose my place, and I am following it as I am finger spelling it.

I'm always a teensy bit dehydrated in the summer around here, honestly. XP The high altitude where I live just makes the sun worse.
It doesn't happen too often, but it definitely does it once a year. It's always blowing the roofs off of newer buildings with tin roofs. They just act as sails. Then when you're driving in it, gosh. It kills your mpg and you're constantly correcting so you don't drive off the road.
You could totally do the Elsa hairstyle. I totally suck at braiding, but her hair is a twist not a braid so it's much easier.
Huh. This is all quite interesting to learn, and you were quite good! Have you forayed into signing in different languages? Are all languages different in sign? Like the letters and such? I've always wondered.
Elevation never helps with that. MY brother lives in Arizona in the high desert and I'm horrible with remembering to drink water on trips - we drove him back to school. And mom went and bought me flavored packets to put in my water to help me remember to drink. It really did help. Thankfully! :)
That just sounds terrifying!! I've not been out driving when it's gusty, but I hate walking in it.
I'll have to give it a try! I'll look up tutorials and see if I can figure out how to do it on myself without making it look too strange. We'll see if I can do this.
Thank you! :) It took me like 25 takes to get right without flopping. I kept on messing myself up time and time again.
You're correct there with every country being different. Every country has it's own version of sign that's for that country, so yeah.. I know a few signs in British Sign Language, BSL, but that's about it. xD LOL! I'm pretty sure that, for example in BSL their alphabet is mostly two handed, not just one like ASL is.
Water is so bland, I hate drinking it. I either have to flavor it or not think about it when I do. I don't get dehydrated as easily as people from out of state do here, though, so I always kinda laugh at visitors. That or people who get altitude sickness. I'll go up top of a 14000 foot mountain and it won't bother me and others have trouble with 5000 feet.
When I was in high school I'd sometimes have to walk in that wind across a huge field. I'd have to angle into it and lean down a bit to make any leeway.
Here is who I learned it from:
I love her.
Practice makes perfect!
Welllll, that's annoying. There should be a universal sign so people of all languages can speak to each other.
Same here! I need something to flavor it - especially since I live in LA, and I hate the water down here! BLEH! D: I get horrible dehydration headaches so I have to force myself to drink though! I get horrible altitude sickness, and it always hits me not my family.
Sounds like exercise!!
Oh, that bun! I was thinking more of the braid! I want to learn how to do the braid - but I can't do that very well on my own. But oh, yes! That does seem super simple!
It definitely does! Especially with random long words like that!
Yeah, but there isn't a universal world language - why should there be a universal sign language (well there kinda is, but it's not used very often, and I don't know it. )
Sorry for disappearing, there. I needed to get something to eat and I'm a bit tuckered out so I won't stay much longer.
I come from a small town and there's super nasty water there. We have to purify it or we don't want to use it. XP
It was indeed.
Yes, I forgot about the other hairstyle. The braid isn't that hard, either, but I agree french braiding is quite hard to do on yourself. And yeah it is super simple! I did it on my first try and I suck at doing my hair.
I just think it'd be cool to be able to speak to people from any culture in sign. Honestly, I wish there was just a universal language, period. Everyone can have their home language, but it would be nice if everyone on the face of the planet knew one other language that everyone knows so no one had to worry about translation.
It's totally fine. I'm starting to fall asleep myself. So I may disappear here.
I come from the country where my parents have well water that tastes amazing - well amazing compared to city water. :/ Haha! I'm spoiled when it comes to water back home.
Haha! Yeah! I may see if I can get my mom to help me with the french braid for the other style as she's better at french braiding than I am. And that's sweet! Yay for super simple hair styles!! :D
I agree with you there! That would make things much easier! And would erase a lot of confusion and all that!
Alrighty then, same here. I'll keep responding as long as I remember and/or am conscious.
Ohh, that sounds nice. My little town installed this new water plant and the water that came out of it was disgusting. It was only when state news got ahold of it that our water quit smelling of dirt and occasionally turning brown. >.>
I have only successfully french braided my hair once. I have such a mass of hair that it's kinda a hassle for me to do anything with it. That hairstyle worked better on me when my hair was even longer, though. Now my "bangs" are a little too short.
Indeed it would. I hate that there's a huge population of the world that is inaccessible to me simply because we don't speak the same language.
Ugh, I just managed to lose all of what I had written. :/ Ok, take 2.
Same here. I start to get really spacy with where I am supposed to be when I get tired.
Yeah, I am going to ask my parents to bring lots of nice yummy water with them when they come down to get me to drive me back up north. :) Ewww, that sounds disgusting! :( Is it any better now at all?
Longer hair really does work better with braiding for sure! I have layers now, and that doesn't help much either.
A universal world language would really help with traveling too and having the same language.
Yeah, pretty much. It starts to hurt my brain to think and so I just don't think and forget what I'm supposed to be doing.
It is slightly better now. There is a water purifier in the kitchen which is hooked up to the sink and the ice maker in the freezer, and all the showers have purifiers on the heads as well. The non-purified water is okay but still kinda stinks like dirt sometimes. Back in the heyday of stinkiness I'd actually avoid a shower for as long as possible because being stinky was better than stinking like dirt. :P
I had layers cut in during my last haircut, too, and that definitely makes it a lot harder. My "bangs" don't stay up in the twist as well as they did before, so I'm definitely not going to get them cut as short next time. I don't really have bangs, just face framing layers, but I don't know what to call them.
For sure. I would worry less about travelling if I didn't have to worry about the language barrier. Thankfully in most European countries anyway it isn't too hard to find people who speak English.
I'm so not going to like today that much. I'm probably going to nap at least once today and not do much else besides work on my group project today. I'm just not feeling anything else. *pokes your cheek* English girls....
Can you not just make some?
You could go to my avi making thread and ping people there?
It's pretty dead and I'm in the mood for avi making.
Why my mouth? D:
