I've just been watching other shows until Doctor Who and Sherlock come out with new stuff. I think I'll start watching Torchwood soon too.
|
I should watch torchwood to, I've heard its a really good show.
|
I have a friend who loves Doctor Who but doesn't like Torchwood because it's more... I can't remember how she put it but it's more intense than DW. More nudity? I think. Maybe that was it.
|
That could be true, I don't know what torchwood has in it. The Miracle Day episodes were excellent and Jack was nude in those, but that was for a different reason.
|
Torchwood is one of the Doctor Who spinoffs, and it can get downright hilarious at times. And the innuendos they can come up with....
|
Oh yeah lol actually I haven't watched torchwood alot, so I wouldn't know any innuendos from the show.
|
You either watch Game of Thrones or Agents of SHIELD which is my two big favorites atm.
Up yo game. Nothing against Torchwood though. Fantastic show. |
Game of Thrones or gtfo. [t2h]
|
No. I can't just watch Game of Thrones. Despite how good it is. I have to occupy my time with other shows alongside it.
Elsyium, are you part of House Stark? |
I've always been a House Stark fan. I was a huge fan of Robb even though I always knew he'd get done in at some point. Loved Ned, too, but again I knew he'd get killed. I'm a masochist apparently.
Oh, I watch other shows, too, but GoT is my favorite. |
I'm of House Lannister because of Tyrion and Tywin. Mostly Tyrion because of how awesome Peter Dinklage is.
GoT is a great TV series. Can't wait for the next episode though. |
I like those characters as well, but I just can't go House Lannister. They've done too much wrong. But I do adore Tyrion.
I am leaning towards voting House Targaryen so far as winning the whole thing. |
I actually like House Lannister because of all the wrong they do. They exist to simply take all the wealth from the poor and use it at their own expense. They could care less about the poor except maybe Tyrion. Tyrion cares far too much about the big picture which is why I relate to him the most and also that he's kind of a scrapegoat for everyone alongside a few other things that cause me to really relate to him.
I just want to see dragons. I know or at least hope they'll deliver on that this season. We got a little tease last season but then again they weren't fully grown as of yet. |
Ahh, yeah. They are what has made the whole show interesting aren't they? I just can't say I'm House Lannister because I can't support evil. Although, I admit I would take House Lannister over House Baratheon. Stannis has gone nuts.
I think we'll see more of the dragons this season, but I can't say as I haven't read the books. Now, what I want to see is Daenerys get her ass out of the desert. She was one of my favorite characters until I realized she wasn't going to do anything particularly impressive for four seasons straight. |
I think Stannis is the most nuts of them all compared to anyone in the Lannister family. Stannis just seems like he's going off the deep end character wise which is why I just can't relate to him as much. I still dislike Cersai though in the Lannister family because of how she's always trying to set up Tyrion and cause his life to be hell. I dunno. She's cray cray.
Oh, I agree. I want her to actually go to Kings Landing and get a whole another war going on. If the war between the North and the South was anything then the war verses her should be just as good as anything. I think we'll get something awesome though before this season ends concerning her. If not then i'll be really sad. |
Cersei is definitely cray cray. [lol] She's got some of that infamous Lannister madness in her, I think. I REALLY hope that Jaime quits screwing around with her (pun both intended and not XD). I like Jaime a lot and I don't want her to take him down. I THINK Cersei is going to get her own this season, though. I really hope so. I do know what happens to her and for me it's more rewarding than what happened to Joffrey.
Stannis, like you were saying, just scares me. I hope that the producers know that we're all sick of her doing nothing. I mean, yes she's built an army, and that was cool, but her time has come. The producers should be recognizing at this point that she's been a really slow-developing character since the end of season one. I kinda doubt we'll get a war started with her unless it's the last episode of the season, but she'll do something I think. |
Jaime is more likable this season than anything compared to any time in the past. I think it's because of what happened to him which caused me to understand that he's no longer at the top and that he's pretty much now even with Tyrion because they both now have disadvantages holding each of them back. I think it's good and it's definitely going to make me keep feeling for the guy. Cersai, as hot as she is, is the the least likable Lannister alongside Joffrey(who i'm proud got what he deserved).
At this point, the one thing at she is repeatingly doing is saving slaves from towns in order to build up her army. I think she should really just get herself ships and hook up with that dude who I still don't know his name but I do like him because he sure did prove to be somewhat of an interesting person. He seems like he'll become really important down the line. We'll see though. |
I really enjoyed Jaime's chemistry with Brienne of Tarth last season. That's the major reason why I started liking him and I hope that he stays knocked off of his high horse. I do have some sympathy for Cersei because Robert Baratheon was a major shithead to her throughout their marriage. She started out sane and loyal to him but he pushed her away until she started losing it.
Are you talking about Daario? I kinda think she'll end up with him, but I'm not sure. She tried to get ships last season in Qarth, didn't she? But she failed miserably. I did like the whole saving the slaves plotline but I will be upset if that's all she does this season. |
Well, Robert was a drunk and gradually become one until all he was is a drunk. That and he didn't care about her very much and was rather an abusive spouse to say the least. Also, he wasn't that great of a King as he let Kings Landing get into loads of debt because of his marriage into the Lannister family.
Yes, Daario. Oh, and she did but she got betrayed but I don't know her strategy to actually get ships though. I wonder if there's some specific city we don't know about where she can get ships from. I want her to get them though and not deal with a whole season of her freeing slaves. As charitable as it makes her, I wanna see her actually attack Westeros. |
Robert started out a nice guy but then Ned's sister died, who was who he really loved. I like that all of the characters are good and bad in their own ways.
I agree, I agree. Her time has come. I still doubt that we'll see her attack Westeros until the end of the season if she does at all. I bet the fifth season will be all about her attacking them, or at least finally doing something. I think George R.R. Martin has written a brilliant series but I also think the pacing with Daenerys was a little slow. Maybe it was better in the books. |
Oh, that's true. I forgot that. :( I really need to go through the whole series again once this season ends. I should have before the new season started but I didn't get the chance to.
I think Daenerys is the slowest progressing of all subplots in the show. Hers is going at a snails pace whilst the rest of the show seems to be going at a decent enough pace that there stuff goes rather quickly and it's onto the next thing. But really, we need them dragons to attack Westeros. I want to see it happen soon or i'm going to be sad. I'd rather they not save it for next season. |
I rewatched the series last year which is why I can remember some of that stuff from the first season. I would have rewatched last season before this season started but I am still rather traumatized from the red wedding and would like to leave it in the past. [lol]
The only thing is that if she attacked them now I can't imagine she'll win. If she does we're going to see a power struggle with her trying to keep the iron throne for the next two seasons. The show has been renewed for two more seasons already, so there still has to be stuff to do. I dunno, I'm still half holding out for a Stark, but I doubt that'll happen. I also want to see some white walkers and it's about damn time for winter to come already. |
Poor Starks. The whole House is either dead or missing at this time. Everyone is just in a chaotic mess for them. Who knows if they'll ever be reunited but that is a question for us all to figure out in due time.
Oh, crap, white walkers. True. We do need to see more of them. I think a white walker invasion would be one of the greatest invasions in the existence of the show because it would force all the Houses to get together in order to stop the threat. Too bad Kings Landing is exceedingly ignorant of what is coming and is too comfortable with what they have. And when I say Kings Landing, I mean the Lannisters. |
I wanna know exactly what Littlefinger thinks he's going to do with Sansa. [stare] The remaining Starks are each going nuts in their own way, too.
OMG, yes. Whitewalker invasion, please!!! It's not entirely true that the Lannisters are completely ignorant. Tywin is well aware of Daenerys as of last episode. Honestly, if Tywin kicks the bucket the Lannisters will be well screwed. He's the only one who seems to know anything. Maybe Tyrion could form a truce with Jaime and they would be pretty smart together. |
I don't like Littlefinger that much. He's far too manipulative for my tastes. He just seems like a person who will constantly backstab you when it's convenient for him. He backsabbed Ned and did the same to the Fool that Sansa saved. He's a liar and I don't think i'll ever trust Littlefinger.
Oh, I didn't mean ignorant of everything. I know they know about Daenerys because she's a more immediate threat due to actually having moles giving intel and the sort. I'm just saying that they're ignorant of The Wall which is the only thing stopping the white walkers and the Lannisters couldn't give a damn. Tyrion did in an effort to inform them but they shrugged it off. Still, the less attention they pay to The Wall is surely going to bite them in the ass especially if things are about to get bad. |
