[eager] I'm on Recolor.me too! I'm called Eccentric Prof there! I only log in like once a week though.
The site seems pretty casual and relaxed, but there are like practically no editing options for forum posts. And I've gotten bored of the games. From what I see and hear the highlight of the site is that you can recolor your own items. And I like that they churn out new items every day. |

Oh, sorry to hear about that. D: It can be a little confusing for new users. I bred my Christmases once, not knowing that at the time you were still limited to two per person, and so the eggs got chucked into the abandoned section where they were promptly snapped up by other people...T__T |

I don't mean that you can't edit posts on recolor ('course its pretty annoying how that decreases your karma or whatever) but you have very few editing options. Like I don't think you can play with fonts, insert images and BBCode as much as on other forum-based sites. Maybe you have to learn yourself the BBCode and just type it in to your posts. But nobody does that; I haven't seen any posts that do. Yet. (Haven't seen an image in a post even. Yet.)

I don't think I'll be going on recolor much though. It just didn't capture my rapture. Snape tortures me like no other HP character... [cry] I loved Dumbledore actually but when he died I was like 'Oh well his time came. He's had a full life and all that stuffzors.' And then I read the last book. BOOM [cry] [cry] [cry] |
I've been spending most of my time on Recolor lately. [sweat] I just love the avatar style there so much...it's harder to connect to the community though, like, I don't know how to get into conversations with the oldbies and stuff. So I mostly just hangout in the Mene thread I made and play word games to max out my daily gold and occasionally greet some other newbies in the Intro section. That's about it so far. [sweat] |
