You should get on the show and we can watch to see how you deal with hoarding stuff.

Yeah, they get people to come in and help the person try to sort out their issues around the hoarding problem.

Usually they make them throw stuff away and then they freak out and some of them die from stress after the show.

I would never make it onto hoarders. Anything I keep has a memory attached to it. Otherwise I throw it out.

Yeah, I don't own enough things to be considered a hoarder, so I'd be an awful choice for that show. About all they'd do is probably look under the bed and ask me if I was collecting dirty underwear.

Yeah... I struggle to keep floor space so I'm constantly getting rid of things. Well it's not "closet" sized... but like a medium sized walk in closet.

That's about the size of my place. It's only a couple hundred a month in rent, so it's ideal, even if it is technically an attic. I like to think of it as my writer's garret. It feels better than calling it a cheap attic space. XD

Now if I only had the time to get some writing done... All I ever do is sleep anymore, because summer.

At least I don't save used toilet paper rolls or anything like that.

I think some hoarding is because of sentimental stuff, and some is a combination of laziness and shame.

"I can't take this trash out, people will know I eat and poop like everyone else!" [gonk]

Just hide your trash in someone else's trash can. Problem solved.
