Me too! He likes the vet but not the car. But he's getting a growth checked tomorrow, and that may be less than fun.

Unfortunately, the vet says it needs to be removed and sent to histopathology. I'm really hoping it's benign, because he's thirteen years old and chemo on a senior cat is really not recommended. It would just be a "make him comfortable for as long as we can" kind of thing.

He gets the actual surgery on Monday. And they'll send it off then. The last time I had a histopath done, it took a couple of weeks. It will kill my sister if he has cancer.

Lawn finally mowed and it feels a lot less like Wild Kingdom outside. The cats are happy because they are no longer convinced snakes (king snakes - harmless but still creeps them out) are gonna get them

Haha, oh man, I kind of wish my kitty was afraid of snakes. He likes to catch and kill reptiles, because they're the only things he can get easily. King snakes are such wicked useful snakes. I kind of love them.

We've been very lucky. Our cats are quite elderly and in decent health. For the most part, they are not getting into fights with other strays any longer - but they've been neutered since we took them in.

So glad you are feeling better!! I've had issues with my liver off and on for years and whenever I have flare ups, it's anyone's guess how long it will last. Not a drinker, just junky diet when I was a kid.

Yeah, we've had my boy since he was two weeks old. We bottle fed his whole litter. And now he's thirteen years old. Outdoor cats have an average lifespan of two years, so reaching senior age is quite a big accomplishment. This is his first major scare. He's been both neutered and spayed since four months. He's an unusual coloring for a male (likely he's got XXY chromosomes), so we all thought he was female at first.

Awww, man, that sucks majorly. We have a family friend with major liver issues because of a medication he took as a kid. No fun at all.

It just means I can't drink booze or take tylenol, but I also have some problems after I've had viruses or been under stress. Usually just a day here and there, but this last bout went on for weeks. Couldn't work since I'd have to be on the phone.

Haha, he is a delight. Which is why we totally want to make sure he doesn't have cancer. Even though growth removal and histopathology is expensive.

That has to be frustrating, though. I get mad when my hypoglycemia messes up my day.

I haven't had it bad like this in years. Totally bizarre given my insanely healthy diet. You would think by now I have about zero health problems.

Luckily I had a few cancellations for tomorrow. I have either three or four hours of tutoring depending on some responses. But I do have homework to finish and turn in and a test to take. So close to the end of this class and the start of a new one.

The lasagna with all its cheese has hated the whole family. We're all a little lactose intolerant.

Same here We gave harder/specialty cheeses a try and I've not had such gnarly results. And the alternative "cheese" made by nutmilks is gagalicious.

Oh gosh yes. Fake cheese is not good AT ALL!
