Cute avatar! I'm tired and overwhelmed, but good! Teaching is both kicking my butt and making me feel pretty satisfied at the same time. It's a weird world.

I'm exhausted, but doing ok. Just haven't had a lot of free time (typical!), and don't have the energy to read back on previous missed pages.

And on Monday, Alex goes in to see if his ankle is good enough so he can get the cast off! He wasn't quite there last week, so yeah! We're all excited here!

Fingers crossed for him! My boot came off this week, so I have been so free feeling. :D

But now I'm completely exhausted and my internet is being dumb, so I'm gonna head to bed.

Yeah, we've got our fingers crossed here! Becca has decided that it is the perfect drawing surface so it's covered with lots of 'drawings' aka scribbles. Quite colorful.

Otto is still passed out, so I am able to jump on here for a few minutes Ooops! spoke too soon I woke this morning a few minutes after power went out at our house. It's an unusual thing to happen, and the power company had a recording saying it may be out for a couple of hours (likely a crazed robot went off the road and hit a transformer or pole), but it came back on after 30 minutes. Sadly, this is the only newsworthy thing I can think of mentioning this morning!

My eye is improving a bit today. At the moment I can't feel any swelling, but I just woke up so that may change. I got some amazing sleep last night. :) I need to do some lesson planning today and we're having my birthday party a day early. I'm kind of sad though, because my sister won't be able to make it. It's not quite the same without my sister. :(

School is just one big "No thank you! :D" I'm ready for the next long break already. Drawing is a thousand times more fun than that.

On a positive note, my momma said no more offline classes in the winter after the Polar Vortex of DOOM, so next semester will hopefully be a little bit easier on me.

Offline classes? Are you in an alternative schooling system?

They offer online versions of classes. You can even pay for digital versions of the books.
