I've never understood the deal with hashtags.

And Twitter I think? I think I've been seeing them all over the place, even on Facebook. What do they do?

Oh lord I haven't bin on Twitter in ages! I think some people use it on Facebook but I don't.
On Instagram they are used as like a way to connect to people.

Still confusing. It's like some kind of weird banner to me, that if you click on it you can see similar posts of the same topic, or something like that.

Hashtags are Everywhere... it isn't just instagram. And they make me want to bang my head into a wall... repeatedly...

I don't know what they do so they annoy me. XD

Hashtags are basically that...by the way I'm hungry but I don't know what I want to eat.

They really do just connect pictures/topics that are similar with one another.

But it's more the fact that you'll have these basically run on sentences that are one word because for it to be a hashtag... it has to be one word. So if I was to write this as a hashtag - I Won't do it as it'll drive me insane.... (haha, not really, but close enough) it'd just be one run on sentence... (best way my tired brain can think to explain it - so glad our leaving time got postponed by an hour - sure getting there an hour later than we originally were, but hey, more sleeping time. )

I rarely use hashtags... (but there are times that they make me laugh - situation depending...) This was a twitter post that I first had written to one of my deaf friends (she got a kick out of it don't worry, I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think she'd find it funny).

Because she doesn't have that problem. :P It's only something that those who are hearing have to deal with. ;) But other than that, honestly I really don't use them ... like hardly ever.

Ah. Yeah, I don't see myself using them much either. Especially since I'm not on sites like Instagram or Twitter, etc. XD

I think the only time I've ever used hash tags is when I put stuff on tumblr, and even then I forget to tag stuff lol. Though I think the only time hash tags really bug me is when your talking face to face with some one and they continuously say "hashtag (whatever they're talking about)"
