Uh, depends? [sweat] I first learned of his existence through the character he plays in the TV show Supernatural, then I saw/read stuff about him as a person and discovered how awesome he is, and now I'm hooked. [heart]

Yeah, I'm generally not a TV show kind of person either, but thanks to tumblr brainwashing me...[sweat]

dragonsaresexy was inspired by Smaug the dragon from the Hobbit, though I like dragons in general. [heart]
shambledmes was because that blog had been a roleplay one and I was roleplaying as Trafalgar Law, of which two of his battling techniques is called 'Shambles' and 'Mes', so I sort of played on a pun of it to make it seem both as a tribute to his techniques, and being a mess. [lol]

@Grapefruit: What was the story about? Like the gist of it? [:O]

lol It was tumblr that got me watching Sherlock in the first place, and it was thanks to tumblr I have 'graduated' from only liking 2D manga/anime/video game characters to real life-people. [sweat]

Sherlock's the only thing I finished watching. I've only seen like half of Season 9 of Supernatural, and none of the rest. I only know what I know from the series thanks to excessive reading of Supernatural fanfiction. [rofl];;


@Kenome: I unfortunately don't know anything about the Zelda series. [:(]
I only know that it's popular, what some of the characters look like, and that's about it. [sweat]

I can't handle reading romance, so I guess there's no chance I'll be reading that. [XD]

I fangasm over them, but I mentally treat them (since it's not like I'll ever meet them in person...) separately from how I'd treat a fictional character, since like you said, they're real people and all. Not to mention Misha's married anyway. [lol]

I've been reading fanfiction for years, but yeah...if I'm deep in a fandom, I crash thoroughly into it. [XD] Maybe not to the point where I can memorize every little thing the character's ever said or done or every little thing the actors have ever or keep track of every little thing they do and memorize all the events they've appeared at or obsessively chase after them, but I do drool over gifs and pics of them. (mostly) Harmless fan stuff. [XD]

I have no love life and have no interest in reading romance stuff because they always seem so unrealistic or too mushy for me. Mushiness gives me the creeps. [gonk]

Yeah, I'm crazy about my fandoms as well. [XD] I've been going stir-crazy the past couple of weeks because there's no one around to fangasm with me on Supernatural. [lol] I can spend days just reading fanfiction and nothing else...

Haha mostly it's just my making inhuman noises at the monitor. [XD] My posts are totally normal because they're all reblogs. [:P]

So long as the story isn't entirely focused on romance, I'm usually okay with fluff here and there. But if the entire thing is about how much they love each other, the hardships they go through in their relationship, etc., then...no. [sweat]

It's no sweat [hug] I'll just fangasm by myself...that's how I mostly went through during my insanity with Benedict Cumberbatch. I still like him lots, just not as intense as before. [lol]

My art isn't very good, especially for drawing real life people, so I just reblog. And follow a ton of fandom blogs. So my dash is always exploding with things I can cackle over. [ninja]

Yeah, that's how I got into the series, all the funny stuff I've seen on tumblr. [XD]

And because there was a while when watching AXN at home, every time during a commercial break, I get Castiel on TV spreading his wings and saying that he's God. Every. Single. Time.

I was so annoyed back then, like, "Okay, I get it! Who the hell are you anyway?!" [lol]

And then my brother came back one time and mentioned how he's watched a few episodes and that it was pretty okay for a TV show so one day when I saw it playing on AXN, I watched the episode. I think it was a Season 9 episode, where they visited this orphanage-like place for boys that have nowhere to go and this kid Tommy or some other was being haunted by an overprotective mother who died in a car fire, who hurt anyone who she thinks is hurting her son. Had no idea who anyone in it were aside from the two who at the time I vaguely recognized as the two main characters, though it took me a while to remember and tell apart who was Dean and who was Sam. [XD]

And then I watched some more Season 9 episodes.

And then I saw and read some stuff about Misha, and heard about GISHWHES. Found pictures. Read some moar stuff about Misha.


And then I went crazy.



Fanfiction and random Googling/tumblring all over the place has eaten me since then.

I think several of the fandoms I'm in came about that way. [XD] I'd be brainwashed by outside influence and after a period of denial and avoiding them, I'd cave and check then out, and then I'd crash and burn so hard into the fandom. [lol];;

I used to be strictly a manga/anime/video games kind of person too. But then Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Misha Collins, and Richard Speight Jr. happened...[sweat]

Who don't you know? [:O]?

I mostly just look at pictures and read fanfiction. [XD] I'm too lazy to watch them unless they happen to be on TV.

Oh...yeah, well, I don't think he's as well-known as the others? [sweat]

Me too. [sweat] I only know the more prominent parts of it, having read about them in fanfictions and the Supernatural wiki, but haven't ever seen them. [sweat]

However just thinking about having to spend like 200 hours watching all the seasons just makes me want to headdesk...[headdesk]
