Well, long story short, he kissed me. BUT, he had his hand on the back of my neck, so it kind of felt like "I'm not letting you get away". Yeah. Very awkward. There's a different between I'd like to kiss you and I'm getting a kiss from you.

Can I just wear a sign from now on saying "I don't want to kiss on the first date" please?

I had a very awkward kiss once. My first and only kiss actually, it was a very 'ew' moment for me because it was basically a smack-on french-kiss that I didn't ask for. I barely even knew the person.

Not sure if it's because my only kissing experience was with what was basically a stranger, but I've never understood the appeal of kissing mouth-to-mouth.

There's a big different between kissing someone, and mashing your lips together with someone you barely know. The 2nd one is not nearly as enjoyable.

I think I need to just go back to only trying to date nerdy guys. I feel less nervous if I'm the one who is confident, and in control of the situation xD

Ah, that would explain it. Every time I picture or see people kissing, I just kept thinking, "Ew! You're eating each other's saliva! "

Oh, that reminds me, I can only handle dry kisses. It's super awkward when they wet their lips! French kissing is a different story, but I hate wet kisses xD

If I wanted wet kisses, I'd go get a dog

Moisturized lips are okay, but I definitely wouldn't want a wet kiss like the kind my mom sometimes give me. Dry's definitely better though chapped lips feel scratchy.
