That's stone cold betrayal!

Dystopia 08-03-2015 03:14 PM

... I strongly support being sanitary. I don't understand how you can be motivated to straighten and grease your hair, but not wash it. o___o;;

Amane 08-03-2015 03:18 PM

Because it always has been straightened and greased, and I know it can take it, and I'm not wearing a feral curly poof. With how much pain I go through when it's washed, I'm not doing it. It doesn't need it. I don't know what happens to other people when their hair isn't washed, but mine pulls through for years upon years just fine and nobody cares.

Dystopia 08-03-2015 03:20 PM

Why does it hurt when you wash your hair?

Amane 08-03-2015 03:21 PM

Because I have very curly hair. Washing African hair isn't the same. You actually aren't supposed to as often. Every two weeks, I think.

Dystopia 08-03-2015 03:23 PM

... But you just said you straighten it.

Amane 08-03-2015 03:26 PM

Momma makes me wear it straight. It doesn't get that curly overnight. It's just mildly tangled and hurts here and there. I don't like that pain, but that is nothing—nothin' at all—compared to after a wash.

star2000shadow 08-03-2015 03:29 PM

you must have baby fine hair..and a sensitive scalp..not a good combination i should know its why i cut my hair short. toherwise it was a pain to brush and wash..

Amane 08-03-2015 03:30 PM

Every stroke pulls. -_-

Dystopia 08-03-2015 03:31 PM

o___o I don't understand at all. I think straightening curl hair sounds much more painful than trying to wash it. Because you'd have to untangle it then you'd have to pull it straight and... It just sounds terrible to me.

'winces' yeah that has to hurt..[glomp]

Amane 08-03-2015 03:34 PM

Ah, I see. Actually washing it doesn't hurt, nah. It's brushing and combing it after the wash that kills and has me quite decided about never washing my hair.

Dystopia 08-03-2015 03:41 PM

Ohhh. Now that, I understand. I had a friend who had similar problems as you, but she didn't straighten her hair. So she just washed it and didn't have to brush it or comb it either.

Amane 08-03-2015 03:44 PM

I don't blame 'er. I like too many hairstyles that are impossible with a curly poof.

Dystopia 08-03-2015 03:49 PM

D8;; I'm sorry.

Amane 08-03-2015 03:52 PM

*nod* It is a very painful life, but I wouldn't cut it for the world.

MoodyBats 08-03-2015 05:06 PM

Sorry i haven't been around.
I have not been on the laptop much since I moved in with my grandparents.
Miss you all. [heart] [hug]

Amane 08-03-2015 05:08 PM

star2000shadow 08-03-2015 05:42 PM

HIM_ROCK 08-03-2015 05:45 PM

Chikyu 08-03-2015 08:23 PM
