I was feeling a bit rubbish the other week cause i was never wanting to do anything. You just need a new hobby, mine ended up being cooking xD

I'm so excited about getting my hand blender set and the food scales. I just bought all the ingredients to make gingerbread men so i'm gonna make christmassy shapes and hang them on the tree xDD

Should bake me some stuff and mail it over :P

I'm once again arguing with idiots on Facebook about the whole Anti-Vaccine thing.
This 39 year old just resorted to getting pissy with me and calling me names because she didn't like what I posted. So after countering her arguments, all I'm getting is "mainstream this, mainstream that, none of it is reliable".

Even though I posted this Antivaccine hero Andrew Wakefield: Scientific fraud? « Science-Based Medicine , which is about as reliable as you can get on the topic because of the various writers and sources behind not just the article but the whole site itself.

Which she tried to discredit because of the site she uses vaxtruth.org or whatever.

So I simply went on to say that's its pretty convenient that her "mainstream" website is credible, yet anything that goes against her beliefs/views is not. Even though they both come from the same "mainstream" internet.

She hasn't said a word since.

Her : 0

Ah dear, these people are silly, and selfish. They belief in ancient conspiracies and refuse to listen to advancing medicines.

They'll end up killing their own kids cause they're too stupid to listen. They believe stupid home made youtube video's about the "truth" but don't listen to official news stories by health professions....who's the real idiot?!


But more on point, you find some right people to argue with on facebook right? xD
I have somebody on my list thats always print screening his arguments with idiots, makes me laugh haha.

Haha yeah they are friends and friends of theirs that jump in because I'm saying things they do not agree with. Then they get flustered and upset because I have logic and science on my side (( usually, sometimes I just improvise and that works out too )), and then they stop talking about the issue. Which is fine by me, gets tiring repeating the same facts from multiple sources instead of some theory that a left wing nutjob made up to try and profit from.

Everybody's entitled to an opinion but some people just refuse to listen to anything other than what they believe in, it's so frustrating D=
