I like the way Ness writes have you read his book "a monster calls" it's excellent we were discussing it earlier :)

I honestly haven't read anything else by him, I read all the synopsis of his other books, but none of them peeked my interest like the chaos walking trilogy did.

Oh god yes, we've been in there for a good hour or more before and only really looked at one section. I could easily spend a £100 in there in one sitting, and for anyone who knows me, I'm thrifty (not stingy however) and struggle to spend more than £20 at a time on anything, but the books there are so unique and interesting, especially the history ones.

Yeah, I just have to find time to do it - but once I get back down to school, where I have better internet, I'll do it before I start classes.

I'm currently looking into reading a lot of biographies that have recently come out. Currently reading Martin Short's autobiography, and I've got NPH's autobiography, and John Cleese's one as well. And another one, I'm spacing on who. But I usually read fiction - usually romance, or mystery - although I'm kind of picky. Sometimes. It depends. XP What about yourself?

Cloud; I don't know if you've heard or see the uk series miranda (if not watch it it will make you smile no matter what day you have had) but miranda harts autobiography 'is it just me?' is excellent!
I read anything and everything apart from horror. So long as it piques my interest. I love history, and I have a vast collection of reference books, my specialist areas are the tudors, pompeii and herculaneum, Joan of arc and the titanic. But that's expanding there's so much to research xD

I've not heard of it, but I'll look into it (both the show and the book)! :D
I have a bunch of equine books -before I was a Deaf Studies major, I was an Equine major, so I still have all those books - I love keeping textbooks, as long as I think they'll come in handy! So I now have 4 years worth of Deaf Studies books too! :D
I'm not a fan of horror either - I'm up for branching away from my usual genres, and authors, if the book catches my attention enough. :)

Cloud; no worries, I like scifi and fantasy as well, i'm branching out in to some of the early science fiction, it is fascinating, some of the concepts and ideas that have shaped science fiction and indeed science fact

heck i was raised on horror movies, sci fi, fantasy, and all other types including the old west 'shakes head' if i wasn't watching westerns with mum, i as watchihg nightmare on elmstreet with wanda, my sister, and if it wasnt that we where watching buffy the vampire slayer, or i'd watch charmed with mom..its one big mess...but yeah i bounce seeing as that was how i was brought up haha.

It was really BORING! Just same old first day BS. Boring, boring, boring. The first class was entertaining, but by the time I got the to the second one (music appreation) I was BORED. She talks FOREVER and i'm bummed out because I have to find two concerts to attend and we have to take notes and write a paper about each. I think it's bullcrap. :/
