Hi there, aliceinwonderland99! My day is good. I'm going to eat lunch now and then stay offline for a few hours because I end up wasting a lot of time on the internet once I'm on.

I need to make myself do something productive.... like walk to the bookstore to pick up my text books. XD *probably won't happen* xD

Nano wasn't actually stressful in the least bit.
But my laptop basically held all of my inspiration and motivation
so when it died that part of me sort of died too.

Alice: Most of them look pretty interesting... they're all centered around my major, given that it's my final semester and the only classes I have are major oriented classes. I just don't want to have to walk oh... it's pretty far... to go and get them. It's within walking distance - yeah. But carrying the books back without the tram running so I have to walk all the way back... hmmmm... But the lines may not be as bad today. xD

Yeah it definitely does stink.
But i think starting fan art is a way to really help me improve a lot.
I think i am unmotivated because of most of my original characters' looks
aren't decided yet as well as their personality.

Yes the walking back would be hard. I mean no text book is small and light (unless its a novel to read for an English class) My friends text books for her archeology classes makes me cringe at how heavy they are. And in one day she has all her classes and since she has no car or licences she has to carry all her books in her backpack, and she running from one building to the next!

Most of mine are pretty small - there are a few though I'm not 100% sure about. I'm just feeling lazy too. I'm a Deaf Studies major, so most of my books aren't too ridiculously crazy huge... for the most part.

For me, it's all about reading the syllabus and seeing which books are needed for what day, so I'm not talking them all with me, unless all of them are needed, every day I have a class. ^_^

That's awesome! I never knew you could major something like that, but that is awesome, sounds like an interesting course to major in too.
I dont understand why universities make you get the newest text books for some classes, I get that the new edition may have more information, but wouldn't it be easier if they just had your borrow them and not pay some stupid amount of money for them?

Most people don't. I'm at one of the two universities in the States, that offers Deaf Studies as an option for a major. If I'm remembering right - the other college is on the east coast, and I'm at the one on the west coast.
It depends on teacher's preference. Most of mine are like 50 to 60$ max, usually way less - including tax (free shipping as I ordered them to be delivered to the bookstore), just under 300$ for 9 books.
I'm letting friends borrow my books that I have from last semester, so they don't have to pay for them. Saves money. :]
Oh, I don't have class every day - just 4 classes twice a week - 2 on Tuesday and 2 on Wednesday. ^_^ So I have 5 day weekends!! Not that I'll have much free time. Haha! :P Yay senior year. xD LOL!
