And multi-accounter who was farming? People actually do that? o.O;; That sucks!! >< |
They do and they get caught! >:D I know a lot of the the tricks so it's easy for me to catch folks doing shady shit like that.
But mostly I'm a chill, lazy mod. XD Ask around I'm sure most folks will vouch for me. |
That's fun! I really like the Mods on this site. They don't have the "Better than thou" attitude that are on other places.
And you're all so professional. And helpful! ...kinda wish some other sites were like that... [stare] |
We all started as users. I don't see the point in having a "Better than thou" attitude, although honestly when I see trolls attempting to start shit, I feel bad for them because Damn I am much better at that then they are.

I've not been around for any autocorrects as I've been in class most of the afternoon. [yes] |
Where has Amane been? I really miss her. :'(

She said awhile back that she won't be on while she plays with Christmas gifts.

---------- Post added 01-21-2015 at 11:07 PM ---------- I hope she is okay. I just know right before she left she was upset about her sister. |
The only downside to my 5 day weekends.... is that I have two VERY long days back to back - 4 almost 3 hour classes jammed into two days. All four of them in sign with no interpreter.
Awwww, sorry to hear that you're sick! :( |
Thank you... They wrote a prescription for another round of zpac and gave me prednisone. I hope this knocks it out of my system... I have been sick non-stop these past 2 months. Stomach virus twice and now the flu... Really? Who gets the stomach virus twice?! Me of course.
Oh man! That sounds awful. I think I only made my schedule like that one year and it about killed me. I was at school all day one day. |
Oh, I've done this before - it's manageable. I just need a day or two to just do nothing before jumping into homework stuffs. [yes] I live on campus so I'm here all the time, I rarely leave. [yes] The only plus about this is if I choose to go home for Spring Break, I can leave on Thursday and not get back till the Monday before classes start back up again. [yes] So I get even more time. [yes]
Oh, wow! Gosh!! None of that sounds fun... at all!! D: :( [hug] |
Cloud you'd be proud of me I used some of the little sign I know for a customer yesterday! He pantomimed writing so we did most of our conversing by paper, but I did say "thank you" in sign at the end.
I still haven't found a chance to use the sign for Shrimp or Crab. Even though both are really fun. |
Long: Awesome!!! :D That's great! :D Writing is a great tool that most deaf that I know use whenever they're around people they know don't know sign. :) Most people down here when ordering at Starbucks, will type their order out on their phone and show that to the person when they're up for ordering. :P
Haha, those would be hard to work into every day conversation - hopefully some day you're able to work them in! :D |
I learned Ghost, Shrimp, Crab from a school of hard of hearing that came to the park. I would like to combine them with the signs for Explosion or Hoagie/sub at some point. XD
|
Haha! I can tell you that there probably isn't a sign for Hoagie/sub (that'd have to be finger spelled - rather, you'd sign the sign for Sandwich here, and then finger spell 'H-O-A-G-I-E' or 'S-U-B' heh... my glossing is coming back out, but that's how I'd sign it at least. [yes] All depends on context, but you'd probably want to clarify with how I said it - but of course, context is key XP I have friends who're so sick of that, but it's so true! Context is needed with sign in order for me to properly understand what the sign is being used for.) But there is a sign for explosion (I'm looking it up on my online sign dictionary).... here it is! The sign for explosion!! :D I would combine it with a better facial expression depending on how big the explosion you want - but yep! :D Hope that helps! :P
|
The second sign is the one I was told was for sub type sandwhiches.
so just imagine *finger swoosh for Shrimp* *Boom hands for Explosion* [insane] face |
Mmmm, I've not heard that - I use the second one for general sandwiches myself. [yes] To me, it'd need to be clarified as to what type of sandwich, but maybe that's just me. [yes] *shrugs* I'd clarify - depending on who it's with.
And hahaha!! LOL! I had a friend once who loved bacon so I showed him the sign for bacon... and he turned it into bacon explosion! [lol] Not quite like the proper sign but it made us all laugh, all the same. :P hahaha! |
