I HAVE GOTTEN SO MUCH DÉJÀ VU AGAIN. I GET TO THESE POINTS IN MY LIFE WHERE DÉJÀ VU COMES UP EVERYWHERE, AND THIS IS ONE, MAN.
|
|
Some of us care about people we have to see all the time by avoiding them.
|
@Amane: You consider books something similar to living things, right? I have similar experiences with notebooks. My letter is not that graceful and writing on a notebook was an awful experience. Don't even get me started on my drawings. Later, I discovered the wonders of writing with a marker. Markers makes everything cute XD.
@CloudDreamer: They were just stating their views on the subject. Both yours and her views are valid. As for me, the book looks interesting, but I don't have the money to buy it at the moment (and it isn't sold where I live. Haven't heard about it either). I'm currently working on a collage, but first i'm cutting the papers and then see what I can do with them. And Hummy just reminded me about Valentine's Day. I was wondering if I could do some crafts, but knowing my attention span, i'll end up doing totally different. |

And I understand when I'm not wanted... Leaving now... -.-

And, Luna, it's not that I consider them alive in some way. I like seeing their perfect, clean state more than whatever lines I'd permanently tarnish them with. And mint condition is certainly better than damage!

@ClouDreamer: Oi! You're both fine in here. This is just a clash of opposite ideas. Don't think too deep into it. It is actually another way to expand you horizons and all that jazz.
@ Amane: I see, but I would object on the matter that mint condition is always better. Sometimes a messed up book looks fascinating. The creases, scribbles, etc. gives it somewhat a personality. |
When you learn about it somewhere besides the Internet and think it's called being a hippie when it's actually called new age/spiritual.
/though new age/spiritual and hippie go hand in hand /you're all welcome to call me a dirty hippie chick /I LIKE NEW AGE THINGS ---------- Post added 01-25-2015 at 02:19 AM ---------- Mmm, I thought you'd say that earlier, Luna! I have a character who thinks like you. I get that. It's true. It's expression. I'd rather show my expression where I can either completely erase it or replace it and start again if I want to. Here's one solution I think I've used before: a copy to protect and another to ruin. |

Huh?
Are those lyrics? Poem? Does it have something to do with what I was saying? Maybe I need to go to bed? It's gonna be 3 am anyways. I won't get up early anyways, not sleepy. My body feels tired though. On a different matter, Hummy, did you just went to Kinsaki? Did something happen there? |
Disagreement is insult… She's a curious one. *looks down in thought*
|
My computer can't decide what time it is anymore. O.o
It's 3 hours out and every time I fix it it goes back in a day or two. Very odd. |
Huh?! Why would disagreement be an insult? Even though you don't have to agree with the other side, sharing different opinions enriches your knowledge about different people.
Edit: Hi Nephila. |
Whoops, what did I say that sounded poetic?
OH. Why did I expect you to say that, you mean? Just, before I finished reading the post, I was reminded of people who don't mind destroying mint condition, and how I consider their reasoning being because it reveals character. I expected you to say that, but you didn't until just now. |
Hello Luna. :D
Just when I feel like chatting my bf comes down with popcorn. I guess it's movie time for me. XD |

---------- Post added 01-25-2015 at 02:33 AM ---------- I wasn't saying I consider disagreement the same as insult, in case that was misunderstood. |

But buying 2 of the same is a good solution. Quote:
@Nephila: Enjoy your movie time! |
LOL, it's late. Nobody's doing what they should. Also, you probably noticed my posts keep sounding awkwardly formal. I'm not totally certain why I keep doing that. I drop formality like a load of bricks unless I'm doing homework.
I interpret "I have lived through this book" as, "This book has made me wiser. This book has made me smarter. I travel to places I could never reach and get to know people whom I could never meet through this book." In that sense, I live a lot of my life through books. I'd say my art and writing reveals who I am, and maybe it says more about who I am because I hide it from everybody. |
Eh. I didn't mean to say that a wrecked book makes you a better person. I meant it reflects the person who owns it.
That said, the fact that you prefer mint books and what you just said about hiding who you are matches. My books are a mess and some of them are moldy, and that's not a good reflection of me D: And the neighbors have started to drunk-sing, lulz. I'll go lay down. See ya! |
Is anyone around these parts? [poke]
|
Nope. it's dead up in here. [zzz]
|
But it's the weekeeennnddd!!! :(
