Yep! CI - contribution items - can be bought using mennies - which are bought using real gold, or you can buy them from people in the marketplace, and EI - Event items - can be bought using tokens [event currency] during events, or bought in the marketplace if anyone is selling them. :]

Well… they aren't necessarily considered rare. They're called CIs. Contribution Items. Or Mennies Items. You'll get more of a reaction if you call them CIs or Mennies Items.

Items only available during an event (they don't cost real money) are referred to as that event's "rares."

And I'm typing so big 'cause Hummy has trouble reading my text.

owo; I wouldn't mind it myself, but I honestly don't like using gold for my transactions. I'd prefer a trade. Too bad the storekeeper doesn't have an exchange thread.
