And I just learned that someone else I know died on Saturday.
That makes three deaths this week.
I'm done.

I'm just sitting on my couch staring at the painting my sister did for me. <3 I need to figure out somewhere special to hang it. <#

She said that it took her the better part of 6 months to make sure it was just right. And that it was crazy hard not to say anything about but she didn't say anything because she wanted it to be a secret.
It's a portrait of me and Carlie with the words 'He will never be forgotten. He was loved. He is still very much loved and he is with you always' painted around us. <3 [cry] Sweetest gift ever. <3

I just started bawling when I saw it. I know he'd hate that I'm still struggling this much.
He would tell me to be happy, that is what he would want.
I am happy most of the time - I just hate that I'm another year older without him. [hug]
It's just so hard.
But I absolutely adore her gift. She said that the portrait was actually started after her therapist suggest her painting out how she remembered Carlie - Chrissy, my sis, was only 14 when he passed, and her therapist thought it might be able to help, and the reason t took her about 6 months to finish it was because she kept on having to stop and take breaks from it. But she finally finished it, right on time too.

I really do hope he would understand and he's proud of me. I do my best to try to put on a smile and a brave face and know that he would be the one cracking jokes and being the downright goof - like he always was. <333 And remember that he'd be telling me "Olive, it's simple. Just put one foot in front of the other and repeat."
I just love that I have something of hers now, I have been asking for years for some of her artwork. <3 My sis has some talent! I'll have to find my camera and try to remember to take a pic of it tomorrow, we'll see if I remember to. [sweat]
