Why don't people like jury duty?
I think it would be fun to sit there and watch someone get busted for committing a crime!
I mean, the only downside I could see is that they might freak out and kill you later or something.

You just sit there all day (as in 8 and a half hours.) and may or may not be called. If you do, it's more sitting and listening to monotonous questions be asked repeatedly. I can't speak for actually sitting on the jury, but I imagine it's more of the same.

For me, it's just one big anxiety situation. I spent the weekend worrying, had an anxiety attack last night, and almost had another one today while in the court room.

I also spent 9 hours there because they had to shuffle people out of the jury and then ask the new people the same damn questions. Again. Ugh -_-

I hope I never get summoned again. Especially because of the anxiety.
