I used to be really afraid of thunderstorms when I lived out in the woods. Now, I live in the city, and I love them. It's kinda weird.

No matter where I live I hate them.

I would be, like, 70% less scared of storms if some horrible thing in the kitchen didn't make an awful high-pitched noise when the lights went out. Everyone I talk to online says they've never heard of that happening. Every home I frequent IRL has that problem. What it is is, it's a terrible fire alarm feature that makes me lose faith in all of technology's progress. At any rate, it ruined my life, it's another reason to be paranoid, and sometimes I go to bed with my ears covered in hopes that I won't jump if the lights go out. When it storms, my ears are shut tight no matter what momma says. It's very hard to block out. Again, fire alarm.

I hate the constant beep fire alarms make when the battery is dying. One of the fire alarms in the hallway of my apartment building made that incessant noise for weeks. It was annoying, but after so long, I tuned it out.

That I understand. Making a horrible life-ruining beep due to loss of power is not necessary. Fire alarm, not outage alarm.

I think its important to know that your fire alarm isn't functioning. What if you didn't know, then it doesn't alert you when a real fire happens, and you all die? x_o

Every apartment has its own fire alarm, and then, there are three more in the hallway. So, that's about 26 fire alarms per building. We should definitely know if there is a fire.

No, I have a very nosey neighbor. She is the type who likes to call the cops. If she isn't the one who called them, she definitely knows why they're here. The cops or ambulances or fire trucks come to our apartment complex often, even though it is relatively quiet around here.

Hello everyone. I just created this yesterday, so I'm feeling my way around looking for places to hang out. I also wish there were more ways to make gold or else not be limited to only 250 playing games. There are SO many outfits and items I want, and earning the gold is kind of ridiculous starting out lol.
I do love that I can change my avatars basic traits as often as I like for free though. ^_^ It's nice to meet y'all. |
