I haven't noticed a smell from the AC. We were using ceiling fans the week the air conditioner was out and keeping the patio doors open. Living in south Mississippi, I would take a weird smelling AC over no AC any day, though. After not having it for a week, it does seem super cold now, though. We had it on for a couple hours and then turned it off for most of the day, and the whole apartment stayed cool.

I think mother nature is having mood swings. Seriously. The last few days where I live the weather has gone from nice and sunny, nice but cloudy, random bursts of down pouring rain, to today, very cloudy, windy as heck, and freaking cold. It's a half hour walk for me to get to or from work and I didn't have a coat with me today. Brrr.

Eh, people are weird sometimes, and I can understand the desire to want to focus on his life. Her could have just made a split second decision about wanting to focus.
