When I had cats, I never had trouble with them in waking me up. If anything during the summer, they'd sometimes come into my room and the door wouldn't close so they ended up causing me to waste electricity. I always felt bad when my old cat Braveheart was a kitten, he'd come and sleep by my feet but I toss and turn in my sleep so I accidentally always kicked him off of the bed, so after a while he stopped doing it.
