Why are the best successes accidents?

For some reason that always makes me think of children who are surprises and they grow up to be the president of the United States.
Or maybe, when you're going to put guacamole on something, but instead you put wasabi and it turns out to be the greatest thing you've ever tasted? |
In this instance, when you try to draw an OC and completely mess up and it turns out looking better. Also, note the accidental discovery of microwave heating.

Morning. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm hoping the stomach bug is finally done at our house now. I'm feeling much better today than I did last week. This is my last full week of regular classes! [boogie] I graduate on Saturday and then next week is finals. I know that's dumb. haha.

That does sound incredibly backwards and dumb. Sounds like that school just tries to push students through with no regard for what they retain in their learning.
