I am getting art by someone who's art I really love! [squee]
She's sending me a card from Japan! |
That's very awesome
|
Ava's avvie reminds me of mine, but it's because of the hairstyle.
|
My avi is supposed to be Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. :D
|
I got that Luna vibe from it.
|
I don't pay attention to Harry Potter. ¯\_( ツ )_/¯
|
I think you'd like Harry Potter, Amane. :D
I love HP. c: It's awesome and fun. Although, I thought Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was alright. It wasn't as good as the Harry Potter series. |
I've lived pretty much my whole life surrounded by my family loving that series. I got tired of it, and that's why I've never read or watched it. Well, I mean, I used to listen to the audio tapes in the car, but that wasn't my choice.
I liked my simplified versions of stories written in the 1800s about young girls instead. Little Women. A Little Princess. Anne of Green Gables. Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. Heidi. Jane Eyre. If you know how any of these stories go, it's no surprise I like them! |
Ah, that makes sense. I get that way about other things too. I used to love a banana blueberry carrot juice smoothie, but my mom drinks it every single day and now I get sick of even looking at it. :S
That makes sense too. I liked Jane Eyre the movie because of Mia Wasikowska. :D (At least the one in 2011. I know there are many Jane Eyre movies.) I used to like reading those American Girl stories. But now that I look back at it, it was really sad that they only had two ethnic girls. One Native American girl and one black. |
I feel ya' there, sister. My momma gets so annoyed with me getting tired of foods I like. Though, when I get tired of a food, it's because I've eaten it a lot and I'm bored.
OH MAN. YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW. I finally got to try a smoothie, at Tim Hortons, and IT WAS YUMMY. Mixed berry. It had a thick taste to it, and I was like, "What is this familiar taste? OH! It's like when I eat Greek yogurt. Must be the blueberries in it." Delicious! I have to get more! There's a place that specializes in smoothies around here, and I must persuade mother! That smoothie you mentioned sounds so good. Oh, I love the American Girls! New and old. I don't have a favorite. I like all their stories. |
Yeah my mom also gets tired of me getting tired of food I like. c: We tried that coconut milk ice cream! :D It was good, but my mom really, REALLY loved it and kept buying pint after pint and I just got sick of it.
Oh yay!! :D I'm so proud of you, Amane. c: It's good to try new things! [squee] I love the banana blueberry carrot juice smoothie. (They call it a "Bunny Blues") But I just don't want it anymore for a long time. Smoothies are really tasty if you put the right things in them. c: I used to love American Girl. I haven't read any of the books since I was in elementary school, though. |
I don't know why my momma has no interest in trying my dairy-free treats. She loves trying food.
It's very weird that I love Greek yogurt on everything while my momma can't stand Greek yogurt. I soooo want moar smoothies, oh my goodness. |
My very first American Girl doll was Kirsten. That's Kristen in Swedish and I, Kristen, am Swedish. I was almost named Kirsten.
|
I don't know that one.
|
She's now retired. I got her like when there weren't a ton of different girls to choose from.

I could've seen her at one point and confused her with Felicity. When was she retired?
|
Not sure. I would have to look it up.l Felicity had red hair.
|
*contemplates* Who's the blond pioneer girl?
|
Kirsten. The one I posted. This is Felicity. And I was wrong she doesn't have red hair but she doesn't have blonde either.

I always thought Felicity had red hair too.
My favorite American Girl was Kaya. :) |
Interesting. It seems the Felicity I remember was Kirsten.
I never got to read Kaya's stories. Maybe once. Molly and Samantha were the ones I knew the most about. I read a lot of Addy because of school. Wait a minute… who's the American Revolution one? |
I read all of Kaya's stories, Addy's stories and most of Felicity's stories.
I never really explored much outside of that. I never read Molly's stories, I don't think we had them at our school library, but if we did I probably would have read Molly's stories. |
Felicity was during colonial times. http://www.americangirl.com/shop/ag/...tentPageSize:&

I enjoyed reading Felicity's stories.
But I read all of Kaya's and Addy's stories. |
