sometimes a good hug really does help [hug] |
I love hugs. :)
Today at work, one of the kids said, "Ms. Ava, I love you." :D |
Oh! How sweet!
Nothing compares to the sweet, pure innocence of a child's love! |
|
I don't know what it is about you, Ava. Something about you screams at my funny side, "pat my fro and call me cute!" [hug][heart]
|
I can be pretty cute sometimes. c:
|
And it feels like I say your name in every post where I talk to you. I don't address users by name a lot, but you? All the time!
|
I've never noticed that about you. :o
I just figured you usually talk to everyone like that. :O |
I can attest to the fact that she doesn't
|
Happy October 1st everyone! :D
|
*wanders in and looks around*
|
It's October now. Come onnnn, Christmas… *shakes hands as if about to throw dice for a bet*
|
It's coming. I'm looking forward to Halloween
|
I, too, am excited for Halloween! :D
But I've been listening to Christmas music too lately. xD |
ATTAGIRL!
|
It's never too early to listen to Christmas music! :D
|
Not ever.
|
I am very excited for Christmas. :D
(Un)Fortunately, it looks like we'll be spending one more Christmas here, so I am really excited for that! I hope this year we get a lot of snow! |
Ava...I thought you had buyers for the house! Why would you still be spending Christmas in Minnesota?
|
We did, but the offer fell through.
They wanted to pay WAY less than the house was worth. After long consideration we decided that it wasn't worth it just to leave, we want more for the house. So it's back to square one! >:( |
Oh, Ava...I am sorry to hear that!
Hopefully a serious buyer will come along soon! |
Fact: if you bite a tomato in half, you will make a mess.

Ava misses her "brother".
Mama Vampire said that he wanted to live with us when she was 10 and he was 25, but Mama Vampire said no. She didn't want him being lazy. |
If I had a brother, I assure you I'd be fed up enough with him that I would readily send him to you. Instead, would you like a chronically sarcastic sister and another sister who's the kind of person who goes off on you one day and treats you like her best friend the next?
/I used to have a shirt that said "sister for sale; house trained and ready to do chores" /that's the only time I ever saw one of those shirts for girls /if the boys can sell their sister/brother/mom SO CAN I |
I grew up as an only child.
Sometimes I wish I had an older sister to hang out with me, or an older sister that I could run away and live with when my parents drove me insane. My "brother" was my mom's friend's son. He was like a brother to me, but I don't remember him very well even though he lived with us for most of my early childhood. His parents weren't the best, so my mom took him in and he stayed with us. She said that he was the only person, other than my mom and dad, that I would let hold me when I was an infant. Then, when I became a toddler, he and my dad put together my play set and my toys. I believe he even helped put together my crib before I was born. I don't remember him much now and that makes me sad because I've seen pictures of us together and I know that if I let him hold me then I must've really liked him. I was sad when my mom and I were talking about him earlier today and she said that he asked to live with us when he was around 25 and she said no because she didn't want him to be a freeloader. I'm sure my mom was just burnt out anyway... But Goddess knows, I would have loved to have had an older brother. |
