I could give up chicken and fish but I'd have a hard time giving up my red meat.

The hardest thing for me to get over was poultry.
I didn't eat a lot of red meat to begin with, but I loved poultry. Chicken was good, I especially loved getting turkey legs at the Renaissance Festival. Those were good.

But I realize now that I don't miss it now that I'm not eating it. I am fine without it, I feel better without it, so that's what keeps me going.

I would love to go on the face off diet.

I think my love affair with red meat comes from the fact that I run on the low side of acceptable blood iron levels.
