Yea actually there's a series of books I've read similar to that plot line. The renegade angels series. Honestly amazing but its lycans angels and vampires [love] loved them

I know if I write or 'try' its been a while I tried for llonkas valentine day contest and gave up coz I couldn't close it in 500 words. But I always end up falling back to stuff that's familiar in my real life even if it wasn't where I was heading.
