I have enjoyed Mr. Wrong's descriptions of places he has been and lived!....he is quite the informed guy!
I envy him in the fact that his job gives him opportunity to see different scenery on a regular basis!

Living in motels would be interesting....though, my fear of bedbugs keeps me from frequenting motels....
I think it would be cool to live in one of those big motorhomes....some are bigger and more comfy than an apartment!...& travel to wherever the whim takes me! ...of course, the price of fuel would become an issue! ....maybe a solar powered land yacht? Lol!

Hello, Dazzy!
I trust that your Monday went well?
I had a fairly average day...though, I was surprised that Hope had an outstanding day, after the sad departure of her parents last night!
She ate well and even volunteered to come back inside after a walk to the mailbox and some outside playtime....which she NEVER does!..."Inside" usually causes tears, once she finally gets to go out!
The BF snapped at me just before bedtime...and I was severely offended....but I kept my mouth shut,...after a short rebuttal to his comment....and it took me nearly 3 hours to fall asleep!
When I woke, I half-expected to have a crappy day....but it turned out okay...
It's amazing what some sleep can do for ya, isn't it? *envies your 13.5 hour sleepfests!!* Lol!
I hope ya have a right nice night!! !

Good evening, ladies and germs! Its a warm night. Soft jazz and fan on. Just had 2 50/50 ice cream bars. Today hit mexican fast food joint with mr go. They put tortilla soup back on the menu. It was quite good, but overpriced.

Ive been distracted. Tonite did omnipresent desky. And ive been reading the blog of this guy called mr talented. A tragic ending, but the guy was brill. But mad at the end. He posted these daily inspiration pics and theyre awesome. He was an artist and extremely clever. But, the mental problems and childhood neglect. Terrible shame. Only 25.

Mr wrong, thank you for another fascinating post on arizona!

They say you write best what you know, and its so true.

Oh, my new and improved diet! Maybe ive been adjusting to that. So many vegetables. And my health plan gives ol access to health coaching. You plug in your impertinent numbers, and they spit out advice. Im supposed to work on nutrition and weight. Havent told mr x. Want to see at what point he notices my weight loss. Im 22# over my ole running weight. I feel uncomfortable at this size, but couldnt dig up motivation to change. In car today i changed mary poppins to a marie osmond christian cd. She has a good voice. On ads she states she was 50# over. Remember when she fainted on that dancing show?

Well, i better scoot. Tomorrow hitting a fro yo shoppe with mr go. But summers out. Hope its not too crazy busy.

Hi folks! Just grabbed ice cream bar. #Delectable. Was writing em to gf. The wifi disconnected and i lost my missive. Sucks. I dont feel like redoing. It could happen again. #Color that phone unreliable

Mr x went to bed. He was getting on my nerves. Chattering about soap operas. Always got that hoover dam tv on with those annoying home improvement shows.

So went to fro yo shoppe with mr go. Amazingly, shoppe was empty! They had a nice selection of flavors. I liked the pineapple one best. And different toppings. I liked the heath bar and boba. Its a self service place.

Then we wandered around the neighborhood. Hadnt been there before. Very nice. It had these alley unpaved streets running between a block of houses. I was wearing sandals which isnt ideal for hiking around, but couldnt stand idea of socks. It was over 80*.

Later picked up chicken bbq salad at the mexican joint for mr xs dinner tomorrow. I got my 99 cent coke refill in my refillable 32 oz cup.

Thats a cute pic, cap!

Have good evening!

A new place just opened up by my house called Cream,
they sell ice cream sandwiches made with cookies and ice cream!
I have yet to try it, but your post just reminded me of them.
Maybe I'll stop by tomorrow, since it's been so gosh dang hot lately!

Hello, hello!
There has been a commercial on the radio station I listen to, advertising Mary Poppins, Live!...at the Boulder Dinner Theater...
Every time I hear the commercial, my minds eye "sees" Dazzy in her car, tapping her fingertips to "Step in Time!" Lol!

I only listened to Marie Osmond when she had that show with her brother, Donny....Twas "good, wholesome entertainment" back then!
Shows like that couldn't compete with what is available on the TV, today!
Seems like if it isn't computer generated or animated, it isn't worth watching!
I used to love watching the "variety" shows back in the day....Carol Burnett being at the top of a list I can't seem to remember right now...
I remember watching Ed Sullivan and a show called "The Amateur Hour" when I was little....
I also enjoyed "What's My Line" and "Password."
.....Ahhh...it must be "nostalgia day" for me, today! Lol!
We currently have no TV signal....The antenna took a fall during the last snow, breaking the fitting that connects the wire to the antenna....and though the BF made an attempt to repair it, it remains broken.
We watch movies....children-friendly movies when Hope is home....Then we watch more mature fare while Hope is away on the weekends.
We watched "The Perfect Storm" last night...and I was reminded why I haven't watched that movie since it first came out!
I found the acting to seem forced and certain details seemed inconsistent....not to mention that the movie ends on a sad note...
The movie is based on a true story....but I question how anyone would know what transpired on that ship, during that storm, if everybody died and there were no survivors to tell the tale?
I am such a critic!! Lol!

They say it is 90 degrees, in Denver, today...but the temperature on our mountain is closer to 75 degrees....and we just experienced a brief thunderstorm, so it may be cooler than that!
I can't get over how GREEN the mountains look, here, this year!...in comparison to the previous few years, when the grass was already dry by now and fire danger was constantly eminent.
I have seen, in the news, that California is still struggling with drought!.....Ya still thinking about moving away from the parched state?
Have you considered Idaho? I always liked Idaho, the few times I visited the state....kinda reminded me of Oregon.

Well....I guess I should do some dishes and clean up the house before Hope returns from her camping adventure with her parents...
It is so much easier...AND FASTER!...to do housework when Hope isn't "helping!" Lol!
She drags a stool up to the sink while I do dishes....oftentimes putting dirty dishes....or toys...into the clean rinse water...
It I pull out the vacuum, she rushes to push the Power Button,...then she goes and gets her toy vacuum proceeds to "vacuum" right where I try to push the REAL vacuum...causing me much silent frustration!....but I rarely get upset about it, cuz I think it is so much more than sweet that she wants to HELP!
.....I can only hope that she is still so eager to "help" when she is a teenager!! Lol!

.....The dishes are beckoning to me...."Wash us NOW, while ya got the CHANCE!"
So, I guess I should stop procrastinating and get that chore behind me!

I hope you have been enjoying a pleasant weekend!! !

Ice cream in any form is good, but in truth I prefer sherbet.
Ohhhhhh, the farmer across the street is out of town for a day or 2 & asked me to wAtch his chickens& bunnies. Yays!! I feel so completely accepted here. Yes. My big, loud, kooky self is now a local character/ fixture. Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!! ❤

Its 84* in here. My heads like a big, pink balloon. Just miserable in here. And ive got a fan on me and ice water. Hard to think. Thanks for inquiring about me, izzy! Where have i been? Well, its been hot here. Adjusting my veggie added diet. Still cookie binging at times. Able to wear my spaghetti tops. So im thinner. A little. Had lunch with mr go today. Place was Deliciously air conditioned! Mr go had to go fetch a jacket. I told him i was like a pink pig rolling in clover. I had the mahi mahi salad salad.and ice joe. I might end up vacationing in other states. The thought of moving all this stuff boggles the mind. Hadnt thought of idaho, izzy. I think i could use a road trip. Been watching oregons temp, cuz gf might move there. Im aghast its hotter than here!

And I am taking my vacation in Springfield, Oregon at the end of July. I could show you around and introduce you to the finest lumber mills this side of the Pecos. Potato Hill offers the hike less hiked. No need to worry about Monsieur Mountain Lion, he spends all his time running the beauty shop and won't make an appearance.

Oh!! I love the pic!! I love the smile!! ....then the thought struck my brain...."she seems overdressed for the heat!" Lol!
I'm sorry it's hot and miserable there!
It still hasn't been what one would call "hot" where I live....prolly saw 80 degrees the other day...
When Hope's parents come up from the city heat, they always exclaim how nice and cool it is.....while I'm donning a sweater to go outside!
Then, the fact that the house sits over the well keeps the house so cool that, if I keep the windows closed during the day, I usually need a long sleeved shirt or a sweater inside....or I can go outside to get warm!
Sarah has a whole drawer of summer shirts and shorts that she hasn't worn in years....She has a slow circulatory system, preventing her from warming up like average folk....so, she would just be a giant shiver-bump if she wore shorts and a sleeveless shirt at home.
I continue to save her summer clothes for the possible event of going into town...where the temps rise above 90 degrees on a regular basis in the summer.
I think you should take Mr. Wrong up on his offer of a guided tour of Springfield!
I hope you can go!! ....and I will be slightly (no.....a little more than slightly!) jealous of ya!! Lol!

I hope the heat doesn't melt ya! Do you keep a spray bottle handy to mist yourself in front of the fan? ....I used to do that when I lived in the city and the heat would be unbearable.
....when I was little we had a heatwave in Oregon and I remember spending a lot of days just laying in a bathtub full of tepid water.

Well....the BF started a new job at the Big O tire shop....says its lots nicer than the other place he worked at....
I'm hoping he'll stick with this job for more than the 3 weeks he lasted at the last place!

Me thinks its time for a fresh pot of coffee....to ward off the drooping eyelids and shake the chill off.....
I bet you'd be shocked to hear that I'm tempted to turn the furnace on to make my toes stop feeling like ice cubes!
I sure wish I could box up some of my cooler temps and send em to ya!
I hope the rest of your day is good for ya! !

Gasping a lil in this steamy fishbowl. Its 81* in here. I looked up springfield. Its 93*! #smelling salts pdq 👃why is oregon so hot? I, naively, thought its cold and rainy.

Cap, im glad youve found a comfortable niche in your new home! Does boo like it as well?

Tried to post pic of mr x, but it was deemed too large.

Izzy, you mentioned me driving, so tried to find a car pic. That was in march in 2011. A pal from moba visited me and i was picking him up. It was actually cold n rainy! #Mommy, whats rain

Tomorrow's mr go's bday. Taking him to a retro diner. Hope their a/c is cranked. Its known for pie. I wont be having any. Harder keeping to diet. Raw peppers have lost their allure. However, i havent had any donuts. Today switched to treadmill. Started at half mile.

Cleaned out a big box today. Had phone manuals, spare parts and pieces. Got a nice wastebasket of manuals to dump.

Mr wrong, i was looking up springfield. Looks like a nice place. Double my town. Was aghast how many 4 star yelp restaurants! #Lucky you😃

Oregon can and does get warm in the summer, but it's only for about three months. This is when an escape to the central coast is quite nice. Did you know that Oregon has no sales tax? Think of all the extra chocolate Spam you can buy from the Bargain Basement. Hooray for pink eggs and Spam, said Dazz I am.

Yes, boo loves it here.
Sadly, she don't get it much anymore.
Little by little I've been taking over the house work.
She still does most of the cooking& dishes, the rest it's mine.
I can't work like I used too but still, we have clean clothes& one can walk across the room& sit down.
But yeah, we're really happy here.
Of course life goes on with it's problems but then, it rains on the just& the unjust alike.
When we move again when we but a place we're staying in London.
I tell folks I'm a recovering detroiter, I escaped. Ahhhhh,hahahahahahahahahaha gasp wheeze Ahhhhh,hahahahahahahahahaha......

I could almost believe chocolate spam. At state fairs they have wild food. Theres a Sacramento state fair and it sounds alluring. Then mr x will say its like 120* or something, and that brings me back to reality. My family had relatives in sacto and we used to go there. It was 111* once. I had grand aunt who spoke no english, but made slush for bro and me. She liked us just cuz we were kids. You look back sometimes at folks that treated you good and think, i got to pay it forward. So, at fairs they like to fry things. Anything, im told. Put a choc batter on spam and deep fry it. Thumbs up!

Mr x just started movie, time after time. Jack the ripper comes thru time to sf. Its 82* inside, 97* in springfield! Mr go wrote saying he went to mall and bought shorts. And it was packed. I loathe clothes shopping. Haha, mr x and i are arguing about some store in town. I say its further down, he says not. Mr x used to visit my town with his motorcycle, but i didnt know him. He said, he shouldve met me when he was 19. I point out that i was 12. Im going to google that store to see whos right. Hes so smug hes right!
