All this talk I'm doing about filler posts lately probably has people thinking something happened. But, nah. Just decided the term needs more color.

And like... even when I'm not feeling too stressed to get on Mene, I don't really want to be online... I want to pace around and listen to Nicki Minaj and stare into space... just one of those life periods I guess, haha!
Moonlit- I'll bet, especially with the big day looming!
Amane- I'm trying o think a joke that combines the term needing more color and your blue default text, but I am coming up empty!

Moonlit- Hopefully sooner!
We just found out my cousin is due for her second baby in February, so that's the fun baby news in my family! A little out of the blue because she went to the doctor because she'd been feeling sick and tired for months and found out she was four and a half months along, but she doesn't drink or smoke or anything, and the doctor said everything is looking good.
Amane- ...It was that easy of a joke and I MISSED IT.
Yay, did you win some contests? o:

Thank you! I hope I'll get to meet this baby in a timely fashion when he is born. I've been lucky enough to see my cousin four times (and her toddler three times!) in the last two or three years, but before that we went I think seven years without seeing one another. If I don't see this kid before he's seven I'll have a temper tantrum!

Moonlit- I live in Ohio and she lives in North Carolina, so we're a bit of a drive from one another. :'( My my aunt (her mom) has gotten insistent on family reunion-type shindigs happening more frequently since we went so long without visiting one another, so fingers crossed we all keep on top of it. Especially now that me spending time with cute little babs is at stake!
Amane- Agreed! Any specific place? Gotta say, I western European styles in that time were nice, but I love traditonal central Asian and eastern European clothing.

Awww - what about Skype. I know it's not the same, but would that help you both keep in touch more?

I don't mean to randomly jump into the conversation but I just wanted to add in that Skype is how I've gotten to know all my cousins kids. The gap between them and us - distance wise - is a massive one. I live on the West Coast of the US and they're over in England. But because of Skype I've been able to introduce them to my girls, my husband and I've gotten to keep up with them, and their families. :) It's not the same as being in person but much cheaper than flying - even though a trip will be happening soon. :)

That's an idea! We usually keep up with one another on Facebook and Instagram, but I should check if she has Skype. And remember to log onto mine now and again.
Jump in all you like, Livi! Welcome! That's so exciting that you'll be seeing them in person soon. I juat recently got to meet a bunch of my Italian and German relatives face to face for the first time, and it was really exciting!
Are you going to England, or are they coming to California?

Iltu: IDK. Just… powdered wigs and huge cuffs and gigantic dresses… Remember when fashion was BIGGER, kids?

Yesss, I do like stuff like that! Big fashion is a sad loss... But I do like the sleek, ethereal dresses that have been fashionable among designers in recent years, and I love fashions I see in the hip hop dance community and all kinds of modern styles. Mostly I wish that Ye Olde Fashions and contemporary stuff could exist side by side and all be normal to wear around.

Sorry for the insanely long time between your post and me responding - this weekend... eh... just moving past it. Life with young children = insanity
(to put it lightly).
Well a trip hasn't actually been paid for - when it does happen, we're hoping soon but money is a major factor, it would be me, Alex and the girls flying over there. In the big picture it's easier to fly the four of us over instead of everyone over here. Lots of cousins, aunts and uncles. I spent many summers over there growing up so I'm close to most of them, I just don't get over there as much now that I'm older. But really thank goodness for Skype - it's been huge in helping us all keep connected. :)

No worries, I've not been around too much myself! Life can get hectic.
Ah, well I hope it happens for you soon! Yeah, it's not cheap to get over there. It's neat you got to spend a fair amount of time here growing up, though But with more people, especially kids, yeah, that makes it more of a struggle for sure. Are your parents (or one of them) from England?

Yeah - we spent the majority of Friday night and into early Saturday morning at the ER with our youngest. Thank goodness mum was able to come and watch Becca over night - our friends who live close took her until mum could get here to watch her.
Soph will be ok - but dear god... she's very good at almost giving me heart attacks. She needs to stop doing this! D:
It really isn't cheap, plus flying with young kids is exhausting. We're waiting until Soph is a bit older at least. Mum's from England. Dad's from Arizona. :]

Quick note - we have welcomed our newest bundle of happiness into our family.
Emily was born 2 days ago, late at night on the 13th September
She is doing great, I'm exhausted, but so glad to be home!
So if I'm not around as much for awhile, this little beauty is why. :]
