Basically, what I meant was.. Why would I spend 20$ on literally nothing, when I can get something tangible, useful that'll last a bit.

Oh, wow. I used to love Final Fantasy, including Kingdom Hearts.

As for online, I've enjoyed Guild Wars 2. The community isn't bad. Of course, there are creeps, people who'll pick on you or try to cause a fight, but 9 out of 10 times I got help if I asked.

I recommend it. Deep storyline, a lot of updates, anything in the gemstore is convenience or cosmetics, so not pay to win at all. I'd also recommend playing through the first game, at least story lines. I think it's pricey, but you see the second game in a different light. Though there's the free option of a few YouTube channels explaining everything, too.

i have the first game.. still in box >.< with one of its expansions i believe. i just never got around to playing it. I've wanted to play it for a long time though. xD

It's definitely aged, but I liked it, and do not regret playing it. Also, to be fair, when the 2nd expansion comes out would be the best time to get GW2. The 1st expansion... It's not bad, but it's better to get it for free.

i'd rather get for free. and probably have to wait that long anyways. xD

Since there's been an "accidental leak" or two already, I'm guessing it's coming sometime 2017.
