I saw this idea on another site I go to, and thought it could be fun to bring here!

This is a fanclub for the nonexistent anime ImA (Imaginary Anime). We will invent the anime as we go, simply by talking about it! So nothing in this anime exists until we create it.

Examples of inventing the anime:

If you mention in your membership form that your favorite characters are "Akira" and "Shermy", that means there must be characters called Akira and Shermy.
If you post saying "I love the scene where Nikki stole Emmanuel's diary in Episode 7", we know there are characters called Nikki and Emmanuel and that Nikki stole Emmanuel's diary in episode 7.

So this way, anyone who joins can invent whatever they want about this anime, and slowly some sort of plot will be created.

Rules:

Characters don't belong to one user: anyone can invent pretty much anything about any character.
Characters do belong to this fan club.
Don't be afraid of surprises: other users might make up weird and shocking things about a character who you were the first to invent.
Then again, please be consistent when you make up new plot twists. Don't make up plot twists that completely contradict what has already been invented (like if a user makes up that Daichi is in love with Libby, another user cannot decide that actually, he is not in love with her and thinks she is boring). Also, don't make up plot twists that mess up the whole story (like making everybody die). This also includes making statements that say something about all characters at the same time, such as: "Why do all the characters in this anime have blue eyes?!?"
Don't invent too much at the same time. It's fun if we slowly discover more and more about this pretend anime.
Don't name characters after characters from other fandoms (examples: "Castiel", "Harry Potter", "Naruto"). It's confusing.
And of course, follow Mene rules!
