As is, if I don't get something resembling a 'full ride' I don't know if grad school is viable. In fact, I know grad school's not viable who am I kidding. BUT life is short, I've had way too good of a time so far to be complaining, so this is not complaining but 'projected planning' or something.

I have a feeling Alvaro and I are going to be in this constant battle of who gets to live in their homeland, because of course he feels most comfortable in Chile, and I dream of one day living in Uhmerica. If we have kids they'll probably be caught in this web of globalized tension between two worlds but hey, we've all got our crosses right? At least if they turn out to be unambitious leeches they can always do translations... what a hopeful thought, eh?

So anway, back to present day reality, what with post-construction stress subsiding, today (Saturday) has been very unambitious and leechful for me if I don't say so myself. We slept in till almost 11, something I haven't done in forever, and I have now wasted almost the entire day playing on the internet and watching a SENSELESS stupid teeny bopper movie that I cannot justifiably explain why I watched it all. It was called the Slumber Party or something to that effect. Well at least I can now rest easy knowing that the snotty "cool girls" lost the treasure hunt just like they deserved and will have to eat their lunches next to the dumpsters all year--- whew!!

Instead of pausing to reflect on the inequalities of this world, where teeny bopper movies are just ludicrous when pondering the reality of millions of slum-dwellers, I shall instead choose to keep smiling and enjoying my senseless Saturday. We're about to enjoy a delicious tuna-rice-lettuce salad creation that Alvaro has made, who by the way has won the official best house husband of the year award. Even though he works and is not a 'house' anything, he still finds time to spoil me by cooking his wonderful creations. Cue applause.

Oh man, I'm the queen of General Discussion... I'm really going for the tiki bra top with the pink flowery thing on it, which depressingly costs 150 more than the normal green tiki bra. Which I know, constitutes a rip off because in the end it's 50% more expensive for just a darn flower.

But it'll combine so much better with the skirt I've bought. Le sigh. About 90 gold to go! I tried descender but I guess I should be more selective about which scores I submit because you can only submit 3 per day, and I refuse to play the poker game because well.. the darn thing's not even a game. I think it'd be more fun if they invented some way to flush gold down the toilet.

Sheesh, tomorrow I have to be at the airport at 7:45 because my international flight leaves at 9:45, which is so excessive...and since Sao Paulo's like, the second largest city in America it takes for-ev-er to get to the airport, so we've got to leave home about 2 hours before I have to be at the airport.

And right now it's.... 12:15. So basically, I really need to get on this whole packing thing if I want to get just a little bit of shut eye.

I've spent too many hours crying over you, and it's got to stop. I'm starting a diet next week.. it's going to be crazy strict. It's the one my mom is doing. She's lost 50lbs or something on it *nods*

It's going to be crazy for me for a while though.. no drinking of the alcohol, I've got to eat 5 small meals a day... I'm going to walk or job on days I don't do TKD. I've got to take all these crazy dietary supplements and stuff. If I can loose all the weight I want to on this diet though.. then I'll have a good starting place to make real lifestyle changes that will help me stay at a healthy weight (with out crazy dieting for the rest of my life)

Woot I'm close to having 500g. I've been posting like crazy to get it. I want to play decender but I can't submit my score until after 2 or so. Ugg.. I just wish they'd pick a time and reset it so we didn't have to remember when the last time we posted our score was.. or so we didn't have to play at the same time everyday. I started off well on Monday.. I played around 9 o'clock am. But yesterday I had to go out to CMH so I didn't get a chance to play until I got back. Now I have to wait until 2 or 3 to play again D< *curse you menewsha!*

Man Erin, that's a hardcore diet. Good luck with all that. I'm attempting to eat better too...and I need to exercise more, but fuck, I keep getting sick and I feel like shit, so that's making things more difficult. RAR.

And the allergies that never bothered me before have become really annoying. I dunno what this is, but I'm starting to hate it. :X I keep coughing for NO reason, and my eyes are itchy and feel awful. I took Claritin-D yesterday and didn't sleep hardly any because I kept waking up every hour. It's got ephedrine in it, so yeah. Fuck that man. I can't take that stuff anymore. I need real sleep!

Man, I'm dead tired... it just has been so hectic here in the 'Tiag. So we get here, and you know the entire extended family's waiting for me to eat lunch with them on Sunday because that's what Latino familes do. So to get to work it's a good 1 hr public transit ride.... and we have to be there at 8 every day.

Ugg.

And since Monday they herd us from meeting to meeting, we even built a house one day.... and then there was a BBQ/fiesta fiesta yesterday night where we all got wastey. My poor in-laws hate me because I come to Santiago and I leave the house at 7 o'clock and get home at 12 or later when they're sleeping.

Ack! No time for anything! Not even to talk to poor lonely Alvaro for more than 10 minutes.
