It was the last year of The Sopranos so that got a bunch of nominations. That's not to say it won anything, since it really didn't. Every time the camera was on the cast, they looked pissed. :lol:

Ah, haunted dolls. I used to sit around at school and look up all the "haunted" dolls on eBay and read the kind of haunted experiences they provided to my poor friends who were usually working on homework and didn't care about dolls that moved by themselves. I loved that shop idea.

Haunted dolls? Wha??????????????

There will only be 5 stages here, but yes. I'm thinking about an ICRS: The Beginning idea. Like the Council tried sending criminals to Menewsha first. Too bad the character that I'm thinking about letting run the place lives in... like a crack den. :lol: That would make the whole shop so much darker. And that's where I run into problems. Maybe the other two types of kids would make things more lighthearted.

Haunted dolls. I just love them. The stories people make up...

Like here. That one's decent, but not as hysterically funny as some I've seen. The descriptions are usually written big like that but all in caps with all kinds of stupid images with lens flares that they call "orbs" and the doll obviously propped up on something or just dropped and photographed with high speed film to pretend it's "floating." If I had time I would totally sell haunted dolls for a living. I would have so much fun writing those descriptions. Which is why I wanted to make it into a shop. :lol: Haunted eBay dolls that turn into kids. Awesome. I'm still having trouble figuring out how 98% of them won't end up gothic lolita.

Go council go, you fail at good choices of guardians.

I like haunted anything stories and ebay is full of them. Course I'd never buy anything there but still some of the stories are cool.

I always thought it'd be cool to have an Eden too, but by that point, I had maxed myself out on B&C kids. I feel like I can't take on much more on Gaia, because I'm so burnt out there, with the exception of a few kids I really love playing. I dunno. I don't feel like I should rush anything b/c I'm not planning on quitting Gaia any time soon. :D I'll get back into the spirit again, I'm sure.

I've won my fare share of flats and contests. I've been rather grateful in that regard. :D

No, I was just bitter as to the terms regarding my blacklisting from that shop, you have no idea what happened that year, and I don't want to divulge what did happen because it was the most upsetting time of my life. I had to leave Gaia, I notified Fa'e and got blacklisted for "notifying Fa'e and not D-Corp", they didn't bother to PM me or ask me what was going on, and I returned ten months later, in October 2006.

I only recently contacted staff regarding the incident and went absolutely nuts one day because of the sheer bitterness (as to how they had gone about blacklisting me), I was removed after my concession regarding what happened.

I was utterly furious, not that you had gotten control of her, because from what I've seen and read; I'm really glad you did! :D

EDIT: Sizz, I got Keir from Fauve when she quit; who paid a panda hat for her.
EDIT2: aghh, I removed that bitching, I've moved on from that now and I just need to forget about it; needless to say, the entire incident put me off the breedables completely. Including places like www.youbore.us, or as I call it you-are-all-bitches-to.us. Let's not forget those fabulous breedables bitches!

GoTP is another crash and burn experience too, trying to make a quest thread with absolutely no confidence regarding my ability. I'm such a lost soul these days in the breedables, I give up all the time~ XD;;

There are lots of people that have left the breedables on Gaia, and it just doesn't feel as fun and as exciting as it once used to! What was the latest concept? Who was the latest artist? What exciting ideas were there to behold?! 2004/early 2005 were the best years in my opinion.

Yeah, huh. It'll be 2 years come October since she last grew, and thus slides my motivation to keep RPing her. Come on, you have absolutely no idea how much she has changed since then (both physically and personality wise); so RPing her comes at a difficult cost, because there is such a mental mind block for me.

Oh well, here's hoping Anya will return one day, wave her magic wand and restore some life. (No doubt bringing a wave of people who follow her heels on command, sucking up to her for undeserved growths, the ones who don't respond to any form of RP when called upon; but then are all about the thread when Anya reappears; you know the ones ;) )

Gragh! I'm being so bitchy today, I have so much venom in me regarding the breedables, I could probably go on, and on, and on.

Ah, that's one thing that irks me about B&C. Kids should actually GROW if you RP them!

The one shop that I've got a kid from that I'm most pleased about growth is ICRS to be quite honest. I mean, okay, I don't RP that much, I KNOW, BUT I try to keep up and at least contribute something.

But it took a year and some months for Rhea (Tall Tales) to become a child from an infant stage. It's easy to lose interest when you have to wait that long.

I dunno. I'm of the thought that RPing should be fun, you know? Waiting that long gets old. I only want to play a toddler so long!

Everyone takes their growth requirements so seriously. It's ridiculous. I understand that an artist wants to see their work RPed, sure, but to wait over a year for one stage of growth? :roll:

I also waited about a year for my Edel to grow, and I've done more hardcore RPing with him than any of my other characters I think. The three pages of RP I did with him is more in-depth than anything else I've done, and each post is hella long and/or involved.

lol don;t feel bad Dare those who won the latest gotp quester contest are gonna be waiting for ages for thier kids to arrive.

Breedables in general has slowed to a crawl and seems to be struggling hard to stay stable. most of the older gen has moved on but stigmas and cliques remain and *shrugs*

Sizzla be happy rhea has grown at least Tiwaz looks like she's gonna be over 2 years old before I get a growth.

There needs to be a standard. both for rp put forth and the timely delivery of growths.
