Yeah, I'm sure you'll get a lot better at drawing with practice. I should start practicing too. Ian got me that book, and I started drawing eyes and stuff, but I should really work on life drawing--and anatomy--first.

Though, chibis would probably be pretty easy! XP

Ya I'll probably start with chibis. Then I don't have to worry about proportion so much. Hair is what gets me. I suck at drawing anime hair for some reason... but I shall get better.

It'll probably take me a while to learn how to use photoshop too. I love a lot of the CG styles you can get out of the program though. *whee* I'm excited to learn. xD

I need someone to go computron shopping with me when I'm ready to buy one. Perhaps KOrr.. he's pretty knowledgeable with computers.

Hair is hard. I have to agree. I dunno much about anime hair at all, but I do know there are general shapes, and then you just add detail later.

Photoshop is a very complex program, and it has a really high learning curve. I still don't know how to do everything! But as you develop a style, you'll figure out what works best for you.

Though if you're really going to draw and use a program for coloring and drawing, you should try out different software...Painter and Illustrator are probably better than PS...I dunno, ask around about that one. I'm sure people have their own preferences.

Korr would be a good choice to take computer shopping. Did you just end up deciding to do that instead of going to Egypt?

Ya hair is going to take a lot of practice for me. The eyes are actually easier than I thought they would be.

I'm sure I'll get a book for PS or even possibly take a class at JCCC or something. We'll see.

From most of the artist I've talked to use PS open canvas or something like that? Have you heard of it? I'll have to check out the other ones... I'll do some research before I go shopping. *nod*

Ya I'm not going to Cairo... I've decided that the trip would be awesome.. if it didn't involve spending 2 weeks straight with my sister. :x
She rubs me the wrong way too often to spend that much time with her. I think I would end up throwing her in the Mediterranean. Lawls.

I have that So You Want to Draw Manga? book too. Ian got it for me last year. :D

I would love to take a PS class...but I'm always afraid that they'll only teach me about photo use of the program, and not for coloring or for drawing. Sure, it'd be good to know about that kind of stuff for my job, but not for coloring Furies. XP

Oh yeah, I forgot about OC. Yeah, lots of people use Open Canvas to draw. I hear it's pretty good too. I guess it just depends on what you like. At least you can get trial versions of most of them.

Dude, well, I may have a couple of weeks of vacation next year, so I'd like to do a Mediterranean trip too. Italy, Greece, Egypt...all those places. I've got this passport. It could use some use! We'll see how expensive such things are...with my current salary, I'd have to save a bunch. We'll see how things go this coming Christmas. XP Joe's always very giving at Christmastime.

I'd probably kill my sister after a week of that too...

Ya the Manga book rocks.. It totally helps. Probably not much for chibis.. but when I get into anime style it'll be a big help.

We should take a PS class together! Even if they don't talk to much about drawing it would go in depth about a lot of the functionality of the program. I think it'd be good information to have.

Heck ya! I've got to go to the Med. at some point in my life. Preferably sooner than later.

Dude, I'll totally take a PS class with you! I've been wanting to take one for awhile now, but just haven't gotten around to it. So yeah, that seems like a great idea.

One day I'll travel more, I swear. If only I earned more money--that would make life so much easier. Ah well, I did this to myself! XP

Dude, I think this year's items totally pwn last year's items...and those pwned the year before's items. Last year, if I had to see another plushie again, I was going to stab my eyes out. I'm fucking sick of plushies.

I dunno, I think they're working hard on making them more detailed, but not working on who likes what.

I doubt I'll ever use the falcon besides the wings, but the pixel work on it is amazing!!! I can at least appreciate it for the beauty of the item.

And I like some of the hair. I'm going to make a mule for my Plague god and give him the green poison hair.

Ya the falcon does have a lot of detail but WTF it doesn't go with anything.. even the wings are odd. I donno.. I guess I just don't like 'em. I'm sure I'll buy the items just to have.. but bleck I doubt I'll ever use the falcon.

Ugg I'm just frustrated. I feel like I'm letting everyone in the company down even though I can't help the way things inflate and deflate. :(

It's okay. Dude, you make me a ton of money normally, so whatever. I've invested in you like someone would invest in the stock market. Sometimes, like in China, stocks drop dramatically. I'm used to it. I don't feel like you're losing my money. I'm earning money just having it in your company. :D *pats you on the back* it's not your fault the Gaian economy is fucked.

So what do you do in Michigan? School? Work? Both?

I learned in my Psych of Language class that Midwesterners have the least accent of anywhere else in the country. When you go to a speech therapist or voice coach, generally you learn to speak with a midwestern 'accent' unless you're trying for a regional accent.

Yeah, I'm just gonna post my ass off tonight so I can get some items here. Seeing as how I'm not going to be here all weekend, this sucks.

I mean, you guys have a buttload of snow up there right? Well, at least most winters?

I know with global warming and all that, it's warmer everywhere, but in general?

Of course it's not uninhabitable. I do know that..hehehe. It's just not my kind of weather. I HATE the winter. I like spring and fall best. I could really do without summer and winter...though I do like swimming...So maybe some summer...XP
