Sign me up too. Our humidity is unbearable right now. Can't even tell the air is on here in the office.

Well, I missed getting the pets here :( Oh well, bills are more important.

Less humidity would be nice- last night I was hanging out in my basement with the dehumidifier and when I went upstairs to go to bed I swear my glasses fogged over . . .it was gross.

Roooooooo . . . . check your messages/ trades.

seriously - I spend most of my time down there- it's warmer in the winter because of space heaters and cooler in the summer.

If my bed would fit down there i would - but . . .no way I'm getting my huge bed down those tiny stairs.

My apartment is on the second floor and it's SWELTERING! The AC we have is in the living room, and provides no relief in the bedrooms. I'm thinking about getting one of those portable AC's for the kitchen to cool down teh rest of the apt cause it's WAY too hot!

yeah - we have no AC - the house is over 100 years old and my boyfriend doesn't 'believe' in AC so we have no window units.

Luckily the house is stone and shaded so it is usually a little cooler in there - we use 3 fans in the bedroom. A box fan in the window and 2 oscillating fans on either side of the bed blowing directly onto us.

I'm usually OK with no ac - but some nights I get so irritated at being hot I can't sleep at all.

The house I grew up in is like that too--and the wiring is shoddy, so we couldn't plug in AC's. The only reason I survived was because of the window fan--one side was on exhaust and the other was on intake.

Yes, even with our window units we have, it's still warm in our apartment when the humidity is this high.

Thanks Si hugs.

Amen! Something flew on me just now and I about jumped out of my chair! All I know is it was hard and wiggly so I threw it. I don't know where it went or what it was. My luck it will come back to bite me later.

I figured I'd share this here.

I was doodling with my menewshan avatar cuz someone on zantarni told me I could draw cuz everyone can draw with enough practice.

it's uber rough, so be gentle, but I figured it was more sense to share here since it is of my menewshan avi.

it kinda reminds me of jelly's art ... only not as good ^_^

I like that a lot Jaz! Like you said, it's rough, but with a little more practice, you can easily do avi art.

She's got a massive potato head  i need to practice more, but it's hard!

Kat i have to admit i laughed when you said about that bug, you seem to get far more over there than we do in England, i rarely get any indoors. but then i live on a busy road so i rarely have my windows open, lets too much dirt and noise in.

Thank you Roo, but i still haven't been brave enough to try another one, i need to learn to draw more simplistically, but i always get bogged down in detail and end up getting stuck :x

You guys do so well drawing :) I can't make decent stick people.

I have to have the windows open and the cooler on. It is 105 degrees and it is expected to get to 112 by the weekend. UGH! I'm hoping that the monsoon gets here soon.

I have been working on vexelling. I'm not great but here is what I have done so far:
