Yes my friend inverno we are meeting up she is from alaska but coming to my state for a month to be with her father. So we are going to hang out go to the zoo go to a art museum compair sketchbooks go to a waterpark and so on :3 i am so excited But with my family i am going to see the new HP movie and get the new HP book at the midnight book thingy.

How fun! Have you ever met her in RL before? I've only met two internet buddies before - it was kind of weird, but a lot of fun.

I wish it would rain. We haven't had our first monsoon rain yet and I hope when we do it will just pour with lots of lightening and thunder.

Well, it's raining here, which made for a not-so-good fourth (although I did hear fireworks going off anyway). I went back to my parents' place for the evening, and was bored outta my gourd, and unable to access internet. I had a few invites to do other stuff, but my mom's been taking my move hard, so I went back to make her happy. Hopefully this weekend will be more fun, and nicer weather!

It rained here too. We didn't venture out to see any fireworks. We watched this show on TV from Boston I think and it had a great fireworks display set to music.

Isn't it wierd how different it feels to go home again once you've moved out? But you don't have any of your things there to entertain yourself with?
I suppose to visit home as a guest rather than still be living there..

Yeah, it feels odd whenever I pass by my old house. We moved in 2000, I think... or 2003. Forgotten.

It is weird, but I've only been gone a month. My big this is just the fact that it's a hassle to go there and put up wiht the family because they are all mushy and guilt-enducing and whatnot.

I really like them - especially the order one. They're very pretty. I wish I could donate this month, if I didn't have the moving expenses! But next month, I'll get back into that...and in the meantime, will simply try to buy off the marketplace.

As for life...IT IS FINISHED!! Woot! We closed today and the only snag was our sellers charged us for 6 days of renting our own house instead of 5, which is should have been. But we called the man and he agreed to refund us our $80 for that last day (I still think that's insane!). He mentioned it was the realtor that told them to charge for 6 days instead of 5. Butthead lady! lol

So are you getting settled now?
Or are you still in a sea of boxes? What's on the horizon for you now?

We're about half and half...have gotten lots of the boxes unpacked, but there are still many more. Plus, we've been holding off doing any big changes to the house before we officially closed. So like now we're going to be putting up a ceiling fan, changing the A/C thing to a digital display, painting, tiling the floors, etc. I'm excited about it!

Busy making the place your own then :) that must be pretty satisfying 8)

Wow, just met our seller and she was completely nice! We've come to realize, it hasn't been them who've been butts at all - it's all been the realtor! I feel guilty to have ever grumbled against her!
