:lol: You sound very torn - I'm thinking that you should hold on to your gold until the store update - then you'll have more of an idea where you want to go from there . . .so for summer prizes you have to buy them with your own gold?

yeah, it's a user run event you see, and me and Dare are organising it, so we're funding it too so i feel i shoulsn't spend all my cash.

:( I find that when I am intimidated by a blank paper I scribble and dodle junk around the edges - then it's not so clean so if I screw up when I'm trying to do it's not a big deal.
Probably sounds silly - but it works for me - usually for me it is writing tho - I'm not much of an artist at all. |

I've been working pretty hard on my contest entry - did my lineart yesterday when the internet went down. Now, I just need to figure out where my scanner is! I'm hoping to get my hands on this month's items somehow before month's end. There's still plenty of time. :)
I can't wait for the store update! Now you've got me eager and excited! I also like that dress, Sia. That's one thing I'm crazy about the lolita dresses too...they're a bit pricy, so not many people have them. I was so excited to get the white because I've not seen anyone else with it. It's nice wearing something unique. |

I need to start working on my thread as well! I don't think it'll take long to organize since I have the other one in the charity section (everyone go vote!) - I can use that as a general guide, and just try to improve upon it and make it more organized for the event. I'm so glad Dare's letting me take that on! It'll be fun!

Wheee. back from the cat show 8) The cats were entered today as well, but I was completely exhausted (and scared) after the show yesterday so I decided to go home and just forget about today :P Both cats did very well yesterday, Armani got his Champion-title and Mia got her first certificate in the class for neutered cats :D
There was a pretty horrible incident at yesterday's show, which made me think about now going to shows anymore.... One of the cats, a Maine Coon, suddenly snapped completely and went insane. Now this is a huge breed, and if they do snap you have a rabid wild animal on your hands... What happened was the cat scratched and bit the owner horribly, she could not get the cat to let go and the blood was dripping off her hands and both the cat and the floor got soaked in blood... They could not stop the bleeding and the poor owner war rushed to the hospital. I was only a few feet away when it happened, and I really was in shock for the rest of the day. I'm still wondering if I want to keep showing cats at all, even though I have a completely different breed (Birmans) you never know what can happen... |
Wow, Ebil! I guess all the stress and people caused that cat to snap? But I can see how that would be really scary to witness! Congrats to you that your little guys did so well.
