I'm not gonna buy a common (I have two bra/panty sets, and a pair of panties from Justin) until I get the V-Day set. That's the only group of rares I have left to track down.

I've pretty much given up on getting any v-day items. i spend my gold too easily.
i have my lovelipop from Gabriel, and Flink has leant me her V-Day belt, so i'm quite happy to wear that for a while. though to be honest the prices are pretty attainable now..it wouldn't take that many weeks to amass around 8K for the pin, which i'd seen people trying to sell for 80k previous to the auctions.. :shock: pendants are an absolute bargain now! oh my, i'd like one of those, i think i need to start saving! but i REALLY want things from the Phoenix/Altantis sets gah!! no biggy, because i have a V-Day item i can't participate in the auctions yet, so i have time to save! :D Plus i think Aeris is going to spread them out more now, maybe take a week between each one, because she's found doing them extremely stressful. |
I can't imagine how stressful it would be to have to monitor a thread constantly, check everyone's inventories, make sure they're not lying/have mules, etc. x__x; Poor girl.
I have noticed that a lot of the items aren't too expensive... so I hope it won't take me too long. I plan on donating every month to the site to help, too. Granted, when college starts back up at the end of the month, I don't know how much money there'll be, but hey. xD Every little bit helps both the site and myself. My friends and I are also going to set up an art shop. >w<; |

Hats are difficult because they can glitch with the hair.
I think they only work if they're huge like the pirate's hat, so a nice selection is some way down the line at the moment i think. Jelly, thank you so much for posting that. I agree, the Valentine's Day event items are so beautiful. I'll probably never be able to obtain any of those. hehe Especially since there are a zillion other things I want to save up for. I should really make a list. I've also realized that I REALLY need to pay attention to things when I'm buying in shops. I decided not to buy anything until I hit 1000g and when I do, I go into the shops and buy 2 things accidentally. hahaha I'm getting so senile lately. Oh, well. haha

i did try at one point to keep a 1000 gold float, but it just didn't happen!
there are too many thinks that i want for me not to be able to spend it all :lol: the next store update isn't likely to be until the middle of next week anyway as Yume has gone away for the weekend, and she's the only one who can do the fancy stuff that's needed with the items..so i have to earn a bit more yet! Plus, I just signed on for a large commission job and am still trying to get my refs of my own characters done so I can hold my contest over on Gaia. How is everyone?

I'm hoping the update will be when i said, that's what Yume has said, but she often doesn't stick to her own deadlines so we shall have to see..it's not such a big update this time, the sets to match this month's CI's and some other bits and pieces so i don't think it will get the same reaction as the last one but we shall have to see! |
