I need to start working on craft projects--I like giving hand-made things to my coworkers and close friends, which will help me spend less money during the holidays and be able to concentrate on spending my money on my family.

I'm back on a regular schedule now. A lot happened this week! Let's see:

I already said my in-laws are near perfect. We went down to my grandparents' camp for a lot of it and pigged out on lobster and other shellfish for a few days. We went sightseeing to a couple of beaches (his mum loves to take photos of everything). On Friday I took my mother-in-law out for a souvenir hunt. I was absolutely flabbergasted when the postcard I found had my old house on it! It was a houseboat my mother, sister and I lived in for a short period of time after my parents divorced (we eventually went back into our original house and stayed there). Seeing it in the photo was something else, especially since it's torn down.

We had some family drama in the mix of it concerning my nephew, but... well, I guess that's all I can say on that. e_e; And work opened back up sometime in the middle of the week. The Red Tide shut down didn't last long at all. A week or less. I'm surprised honestly.

Sorry for all the rambling. I hope no one's died yet.

Today we took my fiance's parents back to the airport, and then we hung out in the Bangor/Ellsworth area. I'm going to miss them, but at least they'll come back in October for the wedding.

In-laws news aside, we got a generous donation from our buddy in Ellsworth. He told me to open up a charity, so that's what I'm gonna do. Is there anyone here questing that I can help with? I would rather give to friends first, and then see what's left. :3~

Not too prodding at all Chi! I'm originally from about 20 min east of Worcester, and now live about 10 min north of Boston. Whereabouts in Maine are you? My best friend is originally from an hour north of Bangor.

I live in Jonesport, which is a tiny little town. I'm two hours away from Bangor, an hour from Ellsworth. ^^

@ Chia: ah, so you might know Brownville Junction? I spent a Spring Break up there a few years ago...oh MAN was that a crazy area to spend a week!

That is so great to hear! I love it when life stops throwing curve balls and starts lobing nice easy pitches over the plate.

Life's not too bad, I've ben fairly lazy this weekend (which started yesterday for me as I had an afternoon baseball game to go to). I'm totally enjoying doing nothing.

I really don't want college to start back up, but alas... I need to get my school books next week. xD; Classes don't start until the Wednesday after this one coming.

That's soon Chi! I really should look into taking a class this semester.

I'm giving up and going to bed ^^

Chibi isn't doing the update for a couple of hours, and i'm not staying up that long :lol:
but i should be able to buy a new outfit when i get up later

I'm taking 15 credits online this semester. I don't know if I'll go back to commuting in January '08 or not. It depends on if I'm pregnant.
