I was here for the Easter event, but i can't say i took any notice of it..

I think I posted once or twice. I remember I found an egg even before I knew about the event. xD

I'd think helping plan the events would be one of the most fun parts of the job! But then again, it seems like no matter what you do, you can't please everyone!
I just can't wait to see what event items you guys come up with!
And oh...I've got to say, there is nothing better than hearing your child say, "Ah'vyou." :D Lauren fully understands "I love you" now and loves saying it to me. It melts me each time! ^_^ She's not even 2 yet.

Chi - totally! And today at the store, as I'm pushing the cart, she reaches out her little arms and says, "Hug! Hug!" She just wanted to hug as I pushed. Such a little sweety! Perhaps her 2's won't be so terrible.
Jelly - why is it not fun? People can't agree on what to do? Or knowing there will be users out there who will complain no matter what?

I think it is a combination of both. Our biggest hurdle is agreement. Everyone wants something different but we have to find the middle ground, and when not everyone participates in the discussion, only to add what they do not like but no suggestions, it makes it difficult.

@Aliena
If my child ends up that sweet, I'd be a crying pile of goop. One can only hope.
My nephew was, well, he wasn't a cold baby, but he never wanted to be fussed over. Only if he was sick would he come for a cuddle. Everything else was, "'Et me dooo'eet!"
Always very very protective though. I have a feeling when he's a teen it'll be amplified. He's very tall already, and he's not even six. He'll end up being like me. I was five feet tall when I entered Kindergarten, and he's having another growth spurt now. His legs are aching and he's eating like a piggie.
@Jelly & Juru
I hope the agreement comes by as easily as possible this year! It's certainly a lot to ask of everyone to put together.
I would say though, if people shoot down ideas but offer absolutely no input toward another, it shouldn't be allowed. Criticism is really only helpful if it's constructive.

My niece is the total opposite. She's nine and going into third grade but still has to use a booster seat because she doesn't weigh enough or isn't tall enough to go without one. She looks like she's 4 or 5. The only way you know she's older is that she's starting to develop in certain areas.

Sounds like my classmate through the years, Katie. I'm not sure adult height is much over 5ft, if that.
Then there's me who's about 6ft. The guys didn't catch up to me 'till high school. Somewhat awkward, but ah well. I was fully grown by age twelve.

I'm sure it was awkward for a while being tall. I am 5' 5" tall so I guess I'm about average.

I can imagine how difficult it could be to tower over all the other students - I've always been kind of short - I'm 5'5 now. Seems average - but at work I feel short and when I'm with the other secretaries I feel tall . . it's strange.

LMAO. Wow, there's lots of us that are 5'5. My daughter is already taller than me and still growing. She'll probably be about 5'7 or 5'8.

Height is a strange thing. I'm 5 t 6 and I was taller than several of the men I used to work with and all of the women.
The average female height in the UK is 5ft 3 I think. Maybe we don't grow because of the cold weather here?
Maybe it's just because my Dad is 6ft. My sister is only 5ft, but then my Mum is 5ft 4 and my sister's Dad is short.
I always laugh at men who are really bothered by their height. My ex was always adamant that he was 5ft 6. I'd say to him 'How can you be when that's my height and I'm taller than you?' but he'd always be like
It's such an ego thing :roll: I have to say though, I didn't like being taller than him, if I wore high heels I could see over the top of his head :lol:
