*huggles you both*

me either. He left my mom before I was born. I have spoken to him in the past, but it's been about 7 years since I've spoken to him. That's okay cuz my dad (the man that married my mom when she was preggers and raised me) is a decent guy so I don't miss the bio father.

Just not into Thanksgiving this year as much as I usually am. and the weather here isn't helping. It's grey and cold and rainy so all i wanna do is curl into a ball in bed and waste the day away. But i can't. I have to clean BLECH!!!

sorry for ranting. guess I should go blog away some feelings ^_^

Ugh....[toddles in] I just ate a little more than half a medium pizza. The pizza was an hour late in delivery so by the time it got to my work I was starving! So....apparently I ate WAY too much. Thank gods stomachs are made to stretch! But dang does my stomach hurt.

I just want to curl up and take a nap right now. [sighs] Two more hours of work then I go to pick up my paycheck with a coworker, drive back here and THEN go home. I'm afraid if I fall asleep I won't wake back up until really late into the evening!

Yeah, I have a step father.. but yea.. I still do not trust guys as much as I should.. my biological dad and my mom were married for 15 years.. but he was abusive to my mom.. then they divorced and my mom got remarried.. and stopped talking to my dad mostly >.>

Not really we thought that the baby was a girl so we pick out a LOT of girl names and never really discussed boy names!

woop- omg! D: Scary! I hope you either squished the perverted little bug or sent him packing out the door. O<

Morning everyone! Happy Thanksgiving (to those that celebrate) and a wonderful day of feasting and good food to everyone regardless XD

>.> I knew Kura was a girl the moment I conceived her, had a dream of easter egg hunting with a cute little girl in a yellow dress, happened last year XD The twins I thought for sure was just going to be a boy. Luckily we still had a lot of Kuras old clothes + the unisex/boy stuff we were buying because I was damn sure it was a boy (had a dream of giving birth to a boy XD)
I have the twins in the same room right now. But once I change them into toddler beds Kura and Melody will share a room, It is much easier to have the same gender in a room >.<

Yeah that is how I feel about having two boys Melody! I also think that he cool thing about having a boy first is that you can put a little girl in boys clothes without too many raised eyebrows LOL, not so much for the other way around!

Yeah... I disagree slightly... Kids don't really associate with one gender or the other until they are about two! So what does it matter if they have clothes that are pink or blue... It really doesn't it is all about pleasing the people around them and their parents!

Not to be mean or anything, but I think it is their parents and siblings and the people around them that make them think that way.. >.>

Dessert - Family does have a lot to do with it depending on how you are raised, but a big portion of how one thinks comes from the general populus, mainly your friends. When your young and still unsure of yourself you turn to your friends for their suggestions and for what they think. You're more worried about pleasing your friends than your family, since your family is stuck with you. :p

Well, at the age of two they are learning about every day items, colors, numbers...I doubt at that time they'd be able to grasp concepts that their parents instill into them. They don't understand 'gay' at that age. It's only later in the early years that they first get a sense of it. The family IS the first to instill ideas into them, but as they get older they put more stock into the ideas of their friends (depending on how they were raised).

Honestly, we're talking about the big Nature versus Nurture debate. I have come to my own personal conclusion that a person is shaped into who they are by BOTH. There is always more oen than the other, but I believe that varies from person to person.

I was lucky. I am a fairly opened-minded person and educated. My interests are extremely eclectic so I can enjoy a great many things at once.

hmm.. I am not really eclectic.. but I am very open-minded in areas.. but I am a very helpful and caring because of what has happened in my past.. but I totally agree with your nature vs. nuture conclusion..

In High School, every year the Sociology class, I believe it was, would hold an actual debate about Nature vs. Nurture. You would be assigned to either side of the 'fence' and you and your team mates would have to do all the reaserch for the side you were on and actually debate with the other side in front of a pretty large audience.

Since I believed that you cannot have one without the other, I didn't participate. And having stage fright had nothing to do with it....... <.< >.>

Our high school's auditorium was even better than the University's! The plays put on there, some of which I was part of the stage crew, were the best I've seen for amatures, at least.

I was definitely lucky with the High School we had.
