Oooh, A Christmas Story! I love that movie. I was at the library a few weeks ago, and I saw a a movie called 'A Summer Story' I think it was, and it said it was a sequel to A Christmas Story. I borrowed it, but I didn't watch it. I do remember it had one of the Culkin kids in it though.

I've gotten into playing Luau Bingo on Pogo the last couple nights, and now I can't get to Pogo. :( It keeps telling me the page cannot be found.

A Christmas Story is usually played all day long on TNT. I remember when I lived in Michigan, we actually watched at least 6 times. hahaha My favorite parts are the "I can't put down my arms!" and "Fa ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra!" parts. What a great classic movie!

I've been watching movies all evening. First "Deep Impact", then "American Beauty" and now "Born on the 4th of July." I had forgotten how much I loved doing this!

Oh, does anyone here knit? I learned how to crochet when I was younger, and always wanted to learn how to knit. So today, I went to Wal Mart and saw a packet with knitting needles, and a booklet. It's supposed to be 'simple instructions and diagrams to teach yourself how to knit'...... LOL, they have to be kidding! I don't get it at all. Maybe I can find some online instructions somewhere, cause that booklet isn't simple to me, lol.

I think I will add Pogo to my long long long list of websites tomorrow. :) I should start playing at King.com again, too. So many sites, so little time! hahahaha

I want to learn how to knit, but not before I do all of the counted cross stitch projects I have lying around and read the books I own that I still haven't looked at. I want to also buy the Dark Tower series by Stephen King but I've been putting it off.

I was just coming back to edit my post... I went searching for sites on knitting, and found one with a video that's WONDERFUL! I've learned how to knit!! Well, I've learned how to start out at least, with the cast on stitch. Once I saw someone do it on the video, it looks so much easier than all of those complicated looking diagrams that books show with yarn twisting in 20 different directions.

I cross stitch too... I bought a slew of cross stitching books at an estate sale a couple years ago, and kinda picked that up for a while. I go through stages though, (same with crocheting) where I will work on something for a couple weeks, and then I get tired of it and don't touch it again for a month or two. It's a really bad habit.
I started on an aphgan (that spelling doesn't look right) back when my husband and I were together.... We've been apart since 1999, and I still haven't finished that blanket. lol, it's been so long now that I can't find the instructions, and I think they quit making the color yard I was using.

I love cross stitching but I have such a difficult time starting it. After I get going I'm ok but the counting kills me.

I can't stand this heat, I can't stand this heat, I can't stand this heat anymore! *stamps foot and chucks a tantrum* seriously I am in no mood for it anymore, its that time of the fricking month for me, I had to eat melted chocolate coz I had no other and I am cramping like something shocking and am feeling all sookie *wails*

I feel for you woop. I hate having that when it's hot out. I would gladly trade weather with you. It's so cold here I can't type half the time because my fingers are so cold.

*crawls under the couch* I am soooo tired... Michael is sick and he crawled in my bed the last two night and he isn't very nice when he sleeps.... He crawls on one side of me a smooshes me into Dillon and I roll a lot cause the my belly makes me uncomfortable in the first place... LOL... But him smooshing me makes it so I can't roll and therefore can't sleep...I love Mikes but is he sleeps with me he needs to sleep in the middle not at one end!

It doesn't help that we spent about 5 1/2 hours in the ER yesterday... We need better facilities in our hospitals!!! They were so busy were were sent to same day surgery for diagnoses and release instead of waiting for the ER to empty a little... Michael was diagnosed with strep throat... He isn't acting as bad as he did yesterday though he was absolutely miserable! Today he is demanding either Dillon or I bring him his toys cause he is sick!

Aww strep throat can be so miserable! I hope he starts getting better soon!

I hope he feels better soon Jaz. Nothing worse than a sick child.

Thanks! :) Yeah, I found a few sites, and I learned how to do the cast on (?) stitch, but then when I turn and actually start the knitting, I'm either holding it too tight, or just haven't caught the hang of it yet. I wish I knew someone that knitted that could sit down and show me, but the 'crafty' people I know crochet but not knit.

Gah why does my mother feel as if she needs to interfere with my life when she wants to feel as if she is mothering me properly? She called me and said stuff that she got on during the week and I let it slip that I might be keeping one of the baby rabbits (who wouldn't if you were in my case?) and she is like you've got too many animals in that small place of yours (meaning the one bedroom place which is like a house but a bit smaller it has a front and backyard and everything that you need like a normal place) and she goes onto say that I can't look after them and I can't look after myself with all the animals. All the animals being a indoor trained house kitty and the mumma and baby rabbits coz the baby rabbits are still so young but they will be going outside when they are around four weeks old into the hutch and the guinea pig who doesn't take up much room at all. Then she has the nerve to go on about my fiance being too old for me, I hung up at this point coz I never want to listen to her crapping on about that. He is ten years older then me sure but I am 23 and he is 33 so its not like I am 16. So now I feel hurt and feel like crying which sucks but oh well, sorry for the wall of text guys but I needed to vent

Woop- I am sorry my mom can be like that too sometimes...She gets on my case about a lot of things... Lately its been that my boyfriend and I need to work out a relationship that we spoil each other not the kids! I totally agree with that... But it really isn't easy when you aren't terribly established and such... You want to make sure your kids have everything they need (even if they don't REALLY NEED it!)... But more then that she acts like I am not pulling my weight in the relationship...as in I am not doing my share of chores and bills and such... Which is a line of BULL because my boyfriend has been home for nearly a month and still hasn't gotten a job so it is MY job that is paying all the bills... And as for house chores, yeah I let him pick up on a good portion of them but that is because I am working and I am pregnant. But he by no means does all of them... Anyhow sorry about getting into a rant myself but you aren't alone... I'm 22 and she treats me like I am 2!
