I am feeling better, despite not going to bed early--I was on the phone for 2 hours with a cute girl :oops:

@t_4eva &Bilbo....It isn't something I should have expected to happen... My college has a 25% policy (might even be 10% but I can't remember which) basically if you miss that percent of class the teacher has the "option" to drop you... I've missed WELL over that... Between Mikes getting sick, me getting sick, not having someone to watch Mikes... And then when I lost my job I slumped into a depression where I just basically sat at the computer all day.... Luckily my boyfriend was here because I probably would have stopped eating and Mikes would have been rather poorly cared for... I hate to admit it but me and depression don't mix well... Ever since Mikes was born I can slip into a depression rather easily.... My prenatal doctor suspects that I had untreated post-pardum depression... and that the unbalanced hormones of pregnancy are causing some issues with it... He wants me to be examined after Sean is born but there isn't much they can do for it. Especially because I breastfeed... Anti-depressants aren't good things and can cause fetal and developmental problems in infants exposed to them! And ANYTHING mom has baby has too! He said he was going to recommend a monthly therapy season....To help deal with stress I suppose! But anyhow... I missed quite a few days and one class only meets one day a week... so if I remember right 3 days is 25%... The other meets twice a week... I think she will only drop me from the once a week class because I have NO idea what we are doing and I don't think I have even had the chance to turn any assignments in... I actually have a meeting with her today... So I suppose I shall keep everyone updated...

But like I said it is my fault not really my teachers... Though I'd prefer not to have to drop the class I don't really mind... I can take it online in the summer which seems to work better for me in the long run anyhow!

And then I have been having problems with Michael's "father" lately as well... So it is just one of those weeks I suppose >.<

It's still too bad that it had to happen. At least the prof is giving you the opportunity to be dropped from the class rather than failing you outright. And you're right--family and health come first, that is the number one thing to concern yourself with, especially if you have depression problems. I've been living with it for most of my life, and know how debilitating it can be--I can't even imagine having a child during my bad times, or being unable to take meds. I second the recommendation of your doctor to start some kind of talk-therapy. It's a lot more helpful than many people want to believe.

FawN: Yup, unfortunately, so it's kind of the long way around, but at least you don't have to go into 10 different topics to check for replies! And yes, it sends you an email each reply. NOT PRETTY!!

Jaz: Aw hun I'm so sorry *hugs* I know what hormones alone can do to you, but having depression as well really bites butt. I was depressed after my first, but luckily managed to avoid it after baby #2. It really bites not being able to take anything to stabilize yourself too, when all you want to do is be at your best to look after your children. And I'm sorry that Mikes 'father' (XD) is being a pain, honestly, it's as if mothers don't have enough to cope with :roll: Also, as far as the class goes, if you think it'd be easier to just take it online, then do that. you've got the do what's best for you. I just think it sucks that your teachers are being so hard on you under the circumstances. I mean it's pretty damn obvious when your pregnant 0_0

Jaz-That's a lot to be dealing with!! It is good that they do allow you to be dropped from the class rather than just failing you. I really hope things start going better for you soon!!! *hugs* Talk-therapy can be very helpful!!!

hello everyone

Talked to my teacher... She honestly isn't being harder on me then she has to be. She actually asked me if I wanted to drop the class or continue on with it... And struggle to get the missing assignments in. Honestly I don't think I can catch up... at all! There is just not enough time in the day. For the other though she offered me the option of independent study (this option wasn't available for the other class because she is required to set up a curriculum before hand and no one had requested an independent study for the other class but they had for this one!)... I took the option for independent study!!! It lets me move at my own pace and I can even accelerate myself! Which is good since Sean is due finals week! I chose to drop another of my classes because it conflicts with my son and boyfriends schedules and it too doesn't have the option for independent study! I will more then likely take both classes in the summer so as not to slow my graduation date!

Haha my mom doesn't cook for me... I go to her house to borrow something (like her hair clippers this time) and she has stuff out EVERYWHERE! For Fajitas She actually called me as I pulled up to her house and told me to eat left overs not to touch anything marked "weekend" or "fajitas" that if I wanted it then I had to come over on Saturday... (she wasn't at the house when she called me! LOL no one was!)... I actually almost forgot yesterday until she called me and asked where I was.... She was already snockered when I got there she usually makes nice dinners for her friends (and the kids that actually stay home on the weekends, this week like MOST weeks it was my youngest brother and my adopted brother who is currently on house arrest!) We get invited usually once a month when I go over during the week to get/ use/ give something to them! Kind of a convenience invite I guess... Cause I am there and she thinks about it at the time LOL!
