Jaz - Besides the event store items, there were a few event items. There is the festive wreath, staff of orchids, orchid petals, orchid hairpin, engraved oak orchid shield and grenache blade. :)

oh my gosh there's so many things now on menewsha. They really need to make it easier to get gold. I tried playing games but it's alot of effort for very little. And everytime I come by no one is here lol. Can't chat with myself.

edit: I'm not trying to be whiney. I just re-read this and it sounds whiney. really I'm not. Just muttering outloud lol.

I am here on and off Jaz! I don't really stay around any of the sires for too terribly long anymore... Usually I post (if I post!) and wander off!

It's the same for me. The only time I can ever really stay on a site for more than half an hour, or around there, is if there is an event going on. Usually threads aren't going that fast so there is nothing to catch my attention.

I end up playing Snake and Tetris a few times, lol.

How was everyone's Memorial Day? Good I hope... mine was pretty good. Did lunch at the in laws, then a cookout at my Grandma's. Beautiful weather, and a semi crabby 1 year old who didn't get much of a nap today. Just glad to be home... sitting down relaxing now that my son is sleeping after a sippy cup of milk, the dogs been out, there's a nice breeze coming through the window, my eyes are heavy and I have a Snickers calling my name, and a bed with Alvin and The Chipmunks in the dvd player to be watched. :)

I'm in the quest threads too Jaz! That's pretty much where all of us hang out and chat. It's really my only way of earning gold since the games are not giving outthe gold like fishing did.

My Memorial Day weekend was okay. El was really sick with a respiratory virus and an ear infection and pretty bad fever, so we spent it mainly in bed taking care of her. The fever finally broke Sunday night, and we were able to make it out to my dad's for a cook-out. It was nice, and got to see a few of my brother's friends as well as have El and my parents get to know each other better.

Now I'm sick--not as bad as she was, but I have a cold and cough. Kinda miserable, but I'm at work, so that's a start!

Ah man Bilbo... that sucks. I'm glad El is ok! I think it's the changing of the seasons... at least you got to have some fun! :) Now, I hope you feel better. Drink lotsa water and OJ.... don't do too much, and get a good nights sleep. (I'm starting to sound like my Grandma... lol)

HEHEHEHE, thanks Mac! I'm doing what I can...trying to take it easy here @ work today, and going to go to bed nice and early tonight. Well, I'm going to get in bed nice and early, will probably be playing here though.

Sorry to hear El was sick but you sound like such a good nurse.

:oops: She would tend to agree with you Rue. Until yesterday, the poor thing was basically in bed for 5 days straight. We went for a walk on Sunday and she wound but back in bed with a fever. Now that I'm not feeling good, We're both kinda paranoid that I've got the same thing. Here's hoping it's just a cold!

I'm sorta back.... Sean has a cold... And so do Mikes and I... It definately isn't a nice cold but for the moment both boys are resting it off!

I do that too sometimes. Grab the laptop and go into the bedroom at night and work on it while my SO is watching Home Improvment then George Lopez. :)

Keep your fingers crossed for me please guys!? I have a good chance at getting a nice paying job and I'm hoping and praying I get it. It'd be so nice to get a job that pays decent, and where the money won't go right back into the gas tank, I'd have some left over.(I used to deliver til I quit cuz of gas prices...)

Mac - Good luck! I'm in the same boat as you. I just had an interview today and have another one tomorrow. I need all the luck I can get. I HATE not having a job. It just feels....wrong.

How is everyone tonight?

Good morning Purkles... Today is going to be a long day... Sean has been taking shorter and shorter sleeping periods which is good and bad... He is sleeping though the night almost all night now! But he is awake more in the day which makes getting chores and errands a little more difficult! But none the less he is a pretty calm baby so I can't really complain!

Must be the time for colds. Jess' little one has a cold as well. I hate seeing that nose sucker being used.

My oldest brought this one home.... I am not even sure where he caught one.... Dillon thinks I am getting strep DX good thing breastfed babies can't really get a sore thought ^_^ at least that is what the doc says!

I hate the nose sucker too! Every baby I've ever seen them used on scream bloody murder T_T Makes me feel so bad for them!

Baby's just don't appreciate a good thing when they got it! I'd have given anything for a nose sucker yesterday--no matter how many times I blew my nose, one of my nostrils just would NOT unclog.

Luckily I am WAY better today. I guess I just needed a day in bed.

Yeah at one point I felt like that to Jessi. I do feel bad for babies having it used. They certainly scream but it's so helpful for them.

*hugs Rue* I think that's the worst part about having a cold. And usually for me, one nostril will be like that one day, and the other will be like that the next day, swapping back and forth once or twice.
