I'm glad things have settled down at home Rue. It's SUCH a crap-tastic situation...I think you should drive the woman batty, then get her declared incompetent so you can put her in a home.

As good as that sounds, I could never be that cruel.

My family had a busy weekend. Had a family b'day party to go to, had to get hay for the horses, build a quick stall for the pony, and work on finding the leaks on the roof since it was raining. Now that Monday is here the sunshine is back - thank goodness!

Yay sunshine! Sounds like you did have a pretty busy weekend Gemini--but it sounds like it wasn't TOO too bad.

Today was fun. My kids kindergarten class had a field trip to a pumpkin patch. I was in charge of three boys including my kid. The pumpkin patch is at a dairy farm so we got to see a newborn calf - only 20 minutes old. The only problem was the heat. My kid got so overheated that he was vomiting. After the classes got back to school I brought my kid home. He's supposed to be taking a nap but he's watching cartoons. At least he's laying down in a cool room relaxing.

That sounds like it was such a great trip--so sad to hear your son got sick though, puts a damper on the whole day. Hope he's feeling better.
