Thanks girls! We're so proud of her! We're proud of them all!!

I never played softball either... so this part is a new experience for me... but I'm not new to the competitiveness of sports. I played volleyball in highschool and we were undefeated champions in '96. Maybe eventually one of my girls will get into volleyball... but if not I'll learn whatever they have their heart into :wink: I've learned alot about softball just in the past week. Sometimes we get so excited and get so into the game that we totally forget they're only 5 and 6 year olds!! :oops:

Ain't it the truth! Life just takes a sharp turn and all of a sudden you're just short of being overwhelmed. Like now... we're fixing to leave to go to a birthday party at the skateplex... but I've already explained to the girls that mommy can't skate cause we don't want to hurt the baby.

Sounds like my husband. I won't ride with him because he stops too close behind other cars and he drives too fast, which is really nothing but a waste of gas unless he is on a highway. They have proven speeding does not really get people anywhere faster after you factor in lights and traffic, but he is old and stubborn and basically dumb when it comes to driving. He is not even allowed to take Cassie out driving, yes he is that bad :P

Sadly in any color they still look well, odd. Sorry, I am just like that, I cannot stand to even watch movies where people wear some odd costumes like pirates or old English or something. It limits the movies I see alot but I can't help it if in my imagination it looks freakish

She was in the beginning of taking driving lessons (here you are at an advantage if you pay a private school) but we waited and waited on a lawyer to have it reduced to a parking ticket, and since I was with her that day and I won't let Jim take her driving, she is kind of out of practice. She is actually thinking of re doing the class now that everything has settled down and my brother is itching to sign over my mom's Ford Mustang to her

Just a fly by posting to say hi. We were going to go to the Ren Faire today but my poor old tired car probably will not go that far at this point (it leaks oil like crazy) and my friend karina, who was going to drive, backed out in favor of getting her nails done *sigh*

So instead I'm going to take the kids to see The Last Mimsy. They are looking forward to it.

  I just have a feeling that it will be a while before I get a chance to go. i want to get out there ASAP if I can, but time will tell. Maybe I can have my mom drop me off at an early show tomorrow or something. Any suggestions? I really hate to be out there in public by myself. D:

In-laws just left a bit ago, and earlier than anticipated. It was a good weekend with them here, lots of game play, good food, nice chat, movie-watching (finally saw Eragon!) and relaxation. :D

Jade's doing better on Tylenol, and we'll see how her fever is in the morning. This has happened quite a few times (luckily on weekends!) where she has a fever on a Sunday but is better on Monday.

I"m usually not one for being in public alone either, but movies are the one thing I don't mind doing by myself. I just get a small popcorn and pop/soda/whatever and sit in the row behind the railing (if it's got stadium seating), prop my feetsies up and enjoy.

Before I met my hubby I used to go to almost all the movies I wanted to see alone. It was kinda nice and I didn't have to worry if anyone else I was with was going to like the movie ... or talk during it ... i hate when that happens.

@ lizzy - *huggles* to cassie! I don't know how bad it was, but i remember after my accident back in 2004 (or something like that, I'd have to look in my blog to find out for sure) it took me forever just to get back in a car let alone even think of driving one. I still get really nervous when we make left turns.

Yeah when I first saw her posts in the thread, it sounded like she knew most of us already, and I wondered if somewhere in the gaia couch thread about menewsha someone had said they were that username, and I went looking, but couldn't find anything. I asked Jaz, and she wasn't sure, and then I PM'd her, but then realized my mistake and PM'd her again. :lol: Sorry 'bout that Sunny!

Going to an early weekday show should be relatively crowd free I would think.

I got the Rose connection from her art shop.

Every picture she has ever done, always has a little rose on it! :P

HOW these people ever got by without me I will never know!! Since that last message I posted - I've been fixing things on another site :P

• it usually is.. thing is, this is a huge college area, so even on days that might otherwise be empty, the theater i prefer to go to is often crowded.
