Well, I guess I'm officially done with NeoPets...it's been forever--probably about a year--since I last logged in. So I decided to log in for old times' sake and see what was going on over. Apparently I've been frozen for scamming. I'm not going to bother trying to get the account back, but it's kind of sad knowing that my pets and hard work are gone forever. At least I still have the friendships.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Twinnie. I am rarely there myself anymore. I might log on once a month IF THAT and for the month of December to see what they give away for Advent. It is sad that I'm not nearly as into it as I used to be, considering it was a huge obsession for me about 8 years ago.

Awww, Eternal - I'm sorry to hear that about your neo account! That's a terrible way to come to the decision that you're done with a particular game! *hugs* Now though, I can't but help wonder what state my accounts may be in since it's been at least a year since I've bothered to sign in there too... didn't even bother with Halloween or Advent or anything this year. The last time I signed in, I could barely find my way around the site, it had changed so much... but like you, I'd hate to lose my pets and efforts like that. I'm sorry, EH... really. :heart:

Thanks Twinnie and Blaze. I was around for last year's Advent, but not since pretty soon afterward. And like you both, even though it was so much fun for such a long time, it had stopped being so quite a while back. Still sad to think that I'll never be able to play if I did want to.

Yeah it's not fun if you're in constant fear of having your account frozen for no reason and not even being able to reach someone who will listen to you long enough to consider un-freezing it. I can't count how many times I've heard of that happening over there and it kind of sickens me to see that it still does. It really went to hell in a hand basket in my opinion.

Yeah, it would be a wasted effort, indeed. And that's just sad that it is that way. I don't think they're doing too well though to be honest so who knows how long they'll even still be around for.

Well Adam and Donna sold the site, so they're not even running it anymore. It's so commercialized and almost everyone I know rarely even plays. I don't think many people are buying their "Neocash" either. I could be wrong.

It was interesting. Partied it up Friday night, accidentally drunk dialed my boss (yep after calling off on that same day, almost got fired for it today), then totally missed a dental appointment on Saturday. So, slightly embarrassing, but eh. You only live once. haha
