Wow, that was easy! Well, it wasn't, but I found it fast due to 2 things. One, you guys said you need mozilla to get it, and I remember mention that there's one part of the site that only works with mozilla. And 2, I clicked the (then current) last page of the save us thread, read the first post, and it said this:

Okay, so I heard a couple of people mention this on a thread I made asking if there were any parents here. So I hope it doesn't bother anyone that I just had to come and check this thread out for myself. But if it does, I could leave.

Hey Strange! You found your way here! Glad to see you! The purkle thing - I'm not an original one, but I think they started on Neopets and then have a guild over on Gaia called The Purkle Couch. So when some of them came over here, they decided to purkle here as well. Heh heh - I use the term as a noun, verb, and adjective!
Settling in for the night to play and draw and maybe watch House. I'm addicted to that show and catching up on the old seasons. My little one's in bed and the husband's out on a gig. |

Yeah, the purkle couch is a guild from Neopets, and then Gaia, and we joined again recently here and have congregated elsewhere too. It's originally an adult guild, but we're more lax about that here. It's nice to group with other adults with similar interest though! So you're a parent? My daughter turns 6 next month, and I have a second baby due around the same time. Glad you found us! |

And you know, I have never seen House, but everyone tells me that I would love it if I would just watch an episode or two. I think I am going to have to set my tivo up for that one night. |

Ugh, homework. I have not had to worry about that in so long. Last time I had any real homework, well that wasn't work related, was back in 2000. Haven't had to worry about it since. Even though I am thinking about going back to school soon to get a masters degree.

Oh, House is such a great show! The main character is very sarcastic and he cracks me up each episode. I'm actually watching the old seasons online.
My last bout with homework was back in...2002 with my Master's. I feel sorry for my husband who is getting his now even working fulltime. He's got a paper due Monday that he hasn't even started yet! He's off that day, though, so if I had to bet money, I'd bet double-or-nothing on an All Nighter Sunday night. |
Oh that sucks. I still pull all nighters, but mainly for court cases I have coming up the next day. It so sucks when you are tired as all heck and the best you can do to feel better is work a cold shower in and about 6 coffees.
