Hey purkles! We've had a lovely family day today (we go to church on Saturday nights instead of Sunday mornings) and I can now say I am officially ready to be a PTA mom! I made rice crispy treats for the first time ever. It was really fun. Lauren was playing in the kitchen with her alphabet magnets and my husband and I were making a homemade pizza together. It was just such a happy, nice time. Normally, I do the cooking and then serve it. But today, we were all three in there, just doing the family thing!

So now, I'm working on a painting and I need to do a few shop sketches too...I'd love to take a nap, though. I may do that...or better yet, a bubble bath!

Aliena that trully does sound like a lovely day, the sort that makes you feel all virtuous and proud and happy, so glad you're having a great Easter :D

Good afternoon purkles!

Hope everyone is having a nice Easter :) My son woke up at 6:30am. Unfortunately the Easter Bunny was not yet up as she did not expect him to wake up that early (he usually rolls out of bed at 9 on the weekends) so the eggs were not yet hidden. I had to think quick. I told him that the Easter bunny had been chased away by the owls that lived in the tree across the street and since he did not want to be eaten he moved on to another kid's house and would be back. I drug his sister out of bed and had her sneak out the back door and go hide eggs. I felt terrible :(

But things picked up nicely and he found them all and has eaten candy until his eyes bugged out. He took a two hour nap and then and he and his sister did their homework :shock: We are getting ready to get the table set and sit down to dinner. Hopefully it will go smoothly.

thanks for the tip Strange i got it i don't like it with a earring in it. i like my chick better.

i think the earring is cool, and it goes with the other little bit of gold on my hairclip.

i'm having trouble deciding how to complete this outfit! they don't really have any footwear that i really like on here.

i saw someone on Halcyon Tears mentioning snow, they're in New england though.

It's funny how the Easter Bunny (and Santa Claus!) seem to know exactly what a kid wants and doesn't want.. like Jade hasn't yet asked how the Easter Bunny knew she wanted Ponyville stuff, a pink bunny, and a purple basket, and chocolates instead of hard candies which she doesn't eat, or why her cousin sleeping one couch away got pajamas and she didn't (she has SO many pajamas already!!). And I'm surprised she hasn't asked why she sees other parents buying easter baskets at the store if it's the Easter Bunny who brings them, etc. I guess she hasn't really thought about it!

We got snow Friday as well, but it melted pretty quickly. It was warm enough today to go without a jacket.

I haven't seen any mention of a 5th egg for today, so I'm guessing there's not one after the pierced bunny ears?

she'll start putting 2 and 2 together soon enough fawN, you can always tell her that those parents are helping the Easter Bunny/Santa out because he's so busy!

I think Mike said there were no more down in the event forum. Darn. Ah well! I think we got some really cute stuff!

Today was a very full day - there were a total of 15 of us for dinner - food turned out well and we went through 9 pots of coffee! :shock:

my easter starts tomorrow cuz my son wasn't home for ester. we will color eggs and he will shurh for them too. and one of his great- aunts is coming with a bastick for him.

There are a few of the items I don't really see myself wearing much, but then I have a feeling they'll go up in value quite a bit down the road, especially as this site grows.
