Good morning purkles. I hope you all had a great Easter!!!

Strange, your job sounds very interesting. I deal with the DA's office alot as well since the attorneys I work for are criminal defense attorneys as well as family law.

Also, I did get to watch Happy Feet and it was really cute.

Morning everyone - I hear Happy Feet was good - I'll have to borrow it form the library some time - right now I borrowed the Triplets of Belvile.

I wasn't sure I was on the right site at first with the new layout - I think I like it - just have to get used to it. :)

Good morning everyone!

I do like the new layout. It is much better than the old design.

So I have finally found something that I want. I really like the new bodice that they have in lingerie land. Guess I better get to talking :)

My Easter turned out well even though it started out a bit rough.

I love the movie Happy Feet. We saw it in the theater and we sat in the second row. I laughed and laughed. The emperor penguin that Robin Williams played is one of my favorite characters.

Anyway, better get back to work :)

I love the new layout as well. Although here at work it's not much different except for the front page. I'll check it out when I get home in mozilla and see what looks better.

I like Robin Williams' part as well Kat. I like him anyway but all the mexican accent penguins I just loved. They made me laugh and laugh. There were some sad parts but all in all it was a great movie. A very good meaning behind the story I thought.

There is supposed to be a part in the movie where an albatros (sp) was spoken by Steven Irwin on the DVD but I missed it somehow. I need to watch it again to see that part.

I think Steve Irwin was one of the seals that they talk to when they are setting off to find the aliens (humans). Hugh Jackman also voiced one of them. Of course I can't believe he sings with Nicole Kidman either, lol.

Was he an albatross? Here all this time I thought he was one of the seals. I will have to load up the DVD later and check out the special features. My son loves this movie so he won't mind if I put it on again.

He tries to dance with it.

From the excerp I heard on the radio, he was the albatross that flew over the water and it had something to do with a helicopter. I can't remember exactly.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm that sounds so gooood! I'm loving desserts lately. A chocolate/vanilla pudding pie that a sister-in-law made yesterday was my favorite dish anyone brought! I can't say how big of a hit my rigatoni was though, nobody said anything except one of my youngest sisters-in-law who ate early and tried it in front of me and said she thought it was good.

I wasn't feeling so well yesterday though, and not today either. I had hoped the antibiotics would be helping more, but I found out today at my prenatal visit that I don't have Strep throat like Jade, but Hib (the infection that there's a common childrens vaccination for.) I was told to keep taking my antibiotics, and if I needed a different one, they'd call. I've tried reading up online about it, but there's not much useful information out there, and adults don't usually get it. I did read that it can cause ear infections, sinusitis, pneumonia, meningitis, and epiglottis, and that it usually requires 10-14 days of antibiotics while I got 7 days. I may call them again tomorrow if they don't call me, or maybe I'll just wait and see how I do. I'm kind of tired of dealing with the medical profession and playing phone tag with my surgeon because my back nerve/disc are worse from all this coughing and I'm running out of time for them to do enough diagnostic testing to see whether I should or shouldn't push during delivery, or have a C-section.

Actually, Steve Irwin, he was one of the seals. In the credits, he is credited with being one of their voices. *Had to go and check since it was being discussed in here*

Hey Purkles! I've had the most lazy day today, it's been awesome! The weather's been so cool (not cold - in the 60s) and drizzly, so with my husband being off today because of Easter, we just kind of stayed in and bummed. So now I'm sitting down, trying to get some work done! I wrote out a to-do list and there's so much on it! Ack!

Aww, FawN, I'm so sorry you're dealing with all that. I'm really hoping you'll start to feel better soon!

My husband and I just watched a really good movie tonight - Rumor Has It, starring Jennifer Aniston, Shirley McClain, Mark Ruffalo, and Kevin Costner. It was about the family that was the basis for that movie, "The Graduate" and it had some really touching moments in it. That was a movie I never really had a desire to see based on the previews, but there was nothing else on our HBO tonight, so we watched it and really enjoyed it.

Altho I overdid the wine and was sicker than a dog today. i couldn't even keep water down. I'm better now, but it took all day, some serious napping and some pepto bismol and alka seltzer.

yay! I got here just in time for the 4th egg! And I love the new look!

now I have to start posting more again cuz I spent all my gold on that stupid pink bunny and the other ears. oh well.

*huggles everyone*

and now i'm off to bed sweet dreams!

Well, my algebra test went well today. I know I missed question #3. I totaly blanked out on it. What is worse is if I had just trusted myself, I would have had it right. But nooooo, I had to mess with it and doubt myself. Changed it completely, and made it what it should not have been. Oh well... The teacher at least gives partial credit for trying. He knows I did what I did. He even told me after the last test to not "over think" the problems.

I'll most likely end up with a B on this one. Good, I know, but not what I wanted.

Well, we could have a daily topic...or something...I don't know, I'm tired today. I do have to complain a little bit though. We are supposed to get snow again tonight and tomorrow. They say it could be a trace up to 6 inches. Um...wow, I wish they could narrow it down a bit. lol I'm sure we will end up with hardly anything again, but it makes it so crazy at work. You'd think people would know how to drive in icy conditions by now, but they sure don't. Oh, man, I want to go back to bed...

fawN, sorry to hear about all the medical issues you are having. I hope you can get some of the doctors to listen to you. I know how hard that can be. Just don't give up! Keep on them until you feel taken care of.

Morning everyone - I had a lovely night last night.

Had some home made pirogies for dinner (from my boyfriend's aunt) and then I did some laundry and homework.

I dropped my cataloging class because what the prof was teaching did not match up with the course description and I wasn't interested in what she decided to teach. I registered for resources for the humanities instead.

After the homework was done I watched the Triplets of Bellville with my boyfriend - the movie is crazy and wonderful!

I think more night need to be like that - good dinner, little bit of work and then some relaxing before bed time.

I use laundry time as an excuse to be on the computer longer - I take the laptop into the basement with me and sit online while I wait for the laundry.
