Man, how are you all getting your gold so quickly for clothes and such? I'm amazed.

morquarwen 05-15-2007 06:52 PM

Rue that is one show out of her 20 million. 4 hours of your one show is nothing compared to the 20 hours of junk she insists on watching daily :?

Mama Juru 05-15-2007 07:52 PM

I roleplay and play descender and post here and there. I have yet to trade anything so I am not sure how that works.

roocee 05-15-2007 07:58 PM

Then you must be a wiz at Decender. I might get 20 gold when I play. I totally suck at it. It's like my brain doesn't go as fast as my mouse.

morquarwen 05-15-2007 09:01 PM

Im getting pretty good at Descender, I think the highest I have gotten is like 83. Of course I cant manage to get that every time I play, but I can get past 60. Since Im not a big chatter I rely mostly on that game to make my gold :D

siaasgn 05-15-2007 10:28 PM

I keep forgetting about descender - I play it for a few days and then forget about it for a while.

magikjaz 05-16-2007 12:02 AM

roocee 05-16-2007 02:41 PM

Ok, I have a question. I'm trying to change my hairstyle and it's not changing so it's telling me to clear the catche. I've deleted all cookies and temp files. Is that not the same as the catche? If not, how do I do that in IE?

jellysundae 05-16-2007 03:49 PM

You're doing the right thing Roo, it's probably just being sniffy. I find it takes my pc a while to catch on sometimes

roocee 05-16-2007 03:58 PM

Well it wouldn't surprise me if our IT guy hasn't blocked certain things either. I will just do it at home. It's really not that big of a deal.

jellysundae 05-16-2007 04:02 PM

What hair are you planning on changing to?

I have a few favourites now that i like to swap round, depending on what i'm wearing :)

fawN 05-16-2007 04:38 PM

Have fun with your sis, Jazzy! Maybe if you have time, you can check in on us from there once or twice!

I totally forgot about Descender! So it's been a month since I've played, and I think I only got to play the first two days of it before coming down here!

So, for you other American Idol fans, who do you think's going tonight? I'm thinking Blake. I was going to vote last night for Melinda, and throw in a couple votes for Jordin, but I didn't remember about it until I was pumping at 2am! Last week was the first time I'd voted this season. I want to make sure Melinda doesn't get forgotten about like Tamyra and Chris and LaToya, but I don't think she will be. It's too close to the end! Those others fell off when there were about 4 left, I'm thinking because people figured they'd be safe!

I don't watch any other shows obsessively, although Jason's family sure does! They all congregate in the living room for various CSI shows and Dancing with the Stars, to name those I know. I think I want to watch So You Think You Can Dance again this year. We tried watching it last year for forgot about it after the initial auditions, but we did catch the finale! Boy that son of the King of Swing was great, and so was his cousin! They looked like they had so much fun dancing together..

I'm not sure actually. I wanted to play a bit to see.

Aliena 05-17-2007 02:41 AM

Did you get your hair to work? I really like the one you have on now!

fawN - I was SHOCKED at the finale tonight! I mean, not disappointed, as Jordin's been my girl from day 1! And when Ryan had her step forward first, I knew right then that she was safe. But Melinda! Wow...didn't see that one coming. Oh well, I figure at this point, they're all winners. She can just begin her career a week sooner. ;P

I liked seeing their visits - I was touched by Jordin and Melinda's reaction, especially when Jordin said, "Who am I to deserve all this?" It was so humble and sincere and it really moved me. My husband and I disagreed over Blake. I thought he was more, "Whee! How fun!" Whereas the other two were more humble. But my husband said it was just cause he was a guy and he probably would have had the same attitude had he been in Blake's place.

I'm predicting Jordin to win the finale, which will thrill me.

roocee 05-17-2007 03:17 AM

Yes I got it to work first try when I got home here.

I didn't watch Idol yet but if I didn't read it here, I would have heard it on the radio on the way to work. Any of the three that were left I would have been thrilled with but I will be happy if Jordin wins.

siaasgn 05-17-2007 02:23 PM

Ohh. .I like the blond look rue.

jellysundae 05-17-2007 02:58 PM

I like the blonde look too! That particular shade is very natural and flattering.
I've yet to try that style myself, though i'm sure i will at some point! :)

roocee 05-17-2007 03:51 PM

Thanks, I just thought the purkle didn't go very well with my cloak

jellysundae 05-17-2007 04:24 PM

It's so great to be able to change your hair when you like isn't it http://i9.tinypic.com/542mumo.gif

magikjaz 05-17-2007 04:26 PM

*peeks in*

just wanted to say hi!

Rue i love the new hair!

I wasn't surprised with Melinda going home. I think she appeals more to an older crowd and this is about being america's "idol" which to me interprets as a younger pop accessible person.

I haven't watched the show from this week yet, but I think I'm predicting jordin to win it all. I'll have to rewatch just to be sure tho.

things are going great here! gonna possibly tour the Edgar Allen Poe museum today. My dad and step mom are coming in tonight and we have the red wings and pistons on as well, so we're prolly staying home.

we went bowling last night. Aside from a couple of mishaps, it was a blast! miss you guys!!!

jellysundae 05-17-2007 04:41 PM

Bowling is fun! Unless there's an overly competitive person in your group, and that can be quite funny, when they start blaming the line for them ending up in the gutter
Like a lot of women i'm not that hot at bowling! i can manage 2 or 3 strikes on a good day and generally manage to score over 100, but only just over!
Breaks my nails though! and i've found i need to use the lightest ball that i can get my fingers into, otherwise my sciatica will be bothering me the next day
Must be over 5 years since i went bowling! :( This town where i live is useless..no bowling alley, no cinema..i want a roller rink!! *pouts*

Deniece 05-17-2007 04:54 PM

Jaz, what part of Virginia are you going to be in?

siaasgn 05-17-2007 06:46 PM

Ogg . .I love bowling - I barely ever get to go anymore- it's too expensive.

I was on the bowling team when I was in high school so I have my own ball and shoes - I was never very great- but by the time I graduated my average was probably around 125/ 130.

Mama Juru 05-17-2007 08:03 PM

I used to bowl when I was younger. As I got older I got out of it. Now I only go to take the kids or if a wild hair sprouts we might go color pin bowling on a Saturday night to see if we can win money, which of course never happens because I suck now at bowling (plus I can add beer to the mix now whereas when I was younger that didn't come in to play ;))

It is fun with a group of people who are just there to have a good time.
